The Scout: EPL Matchday 28 Posted on February 25, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Southampton vs Fulham 28th February, 3.45am WST A 2-0 away loss to Arsenal over the weekend leaves a miserable Southampton sitting dangerously in the relegation zone at 18th on the table. Having lost their last two games, the Saints will be looking to take crucial points off another facing their own, worse, relegation battle. 19th placed Fulham come into this match off the back of a 3-1 loss to West Ham and having won just one game in 2019. Southampton have often been gallant this season but struggled to take maximum points. They lead the League in draws (9) and will be looking to regain the mid-January form that saw back to back 2-1 wins over Leicester and Everton. Fulham (predictably) have a terrible away record conceding at least one goal in 15 out of 16 matches away from home. At home, the Saints have scored at least one goal in 12 of their 14 League matches this season. Against the League’s leakiest defense, the chances should come thick and fast. Suggested Bet: Over +2.5 Goals @ $1.95* Arsenal vs Bournemouth 28th February, 3.45am WST Arsenal were clinical in their 2-0 home win over Southampton last Matchday. The win saw them leapfrog Manchester United into the coveted 4th position on the Premier League table. Bournemouth (10th) had a disappointing 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton; a match they had in their grasp until conceding an 83rd minute penalty. The Gunners play incredibly well at Emirates with a season home record of 11 wins, two draws and just one loss. They enter this fixture having won their last seven Premier League matches at home, while their opponents have lost eight straight away from home. Staggering! The writing could well be on the wall in this match. Arsenal play amazing at home and Bournemouth don’t travel. On the road in their last eight matches, Bournemouth have conceded an average of 2.8 goals, while Arsenal are scoring more than two of their own at home in this time. Suggested Bet: Match Result Arsenal & Over 2.5 Goals @ $1.87* Chelsea vs Tottenham 28th February, 4am WST Chelsea return to Premier League action after a disappointing loss to Manchester City in the EFL Cup. Sitting 6th on the table, the Blues are locked in a battle with Arsenal and Manchester United for the League’s 4th place. Tottenham (3rd) had it all to play for over the weekend. Just a few points behind Manchester City and Liverpool, a disastrous 2-1 loss to Burnley might have put a line through their title chances once and for all. This is shaping as an epic London Derby with both sides nearing full strength and with plenty to play for. Tottenham welcomed back Harry Kane last Matchday and the English captain did his part scoring in the 65th minute. Despite the loss, the Spurs created 17 shots (seven more than Burnley) and any rust Kane may have been carrying should be gone now. I see him adding to his 15 goals for the season here. Suggested Bet: Anytime Goal Scorer Harry Kane @ $2.30* *Odds correct as at 12.45pm WST 25th February 2019. Market Market
