The Scout: EPL Matchday 27 Posted on February 20, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Sheffield United vs Brighton Sheffield United keep finding ways to win. Coming off a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth, they sit 6th on the table, just two points behind Chelsea in 4th. 15th placed Brighton haven’t tasted victory in the Premier League for six matches. They are just three points clear of relegation, and will need a big turnaround in form over the remaining games to stay in the top flight. Sheffield United’s biggest strength is their defensive. They smother their opponents with great success, contributing to them losing just two of their last nine games at home. Of their 15 road games this season, Brighton have won just two. I don’t think they’re about to add to that tally in what looks one of the better bets of the weekend. Suggested Bet: Match Result Sheffield United @ $1.91* Leicester City vs Manchester City The match of the round sees Leicester (3rd) play host to Manchester City (2nd) with four points separating the sides. Leicester have been sublime for the majority of this season, and look all but assured of Champions League football next season. Last season Manchester City lost just four games on their way to the title. They’ve already lost six times through 26 games this season, conceding 29 goals in the process. (They conceded just 23 goals all of last season)! Jamie Vardy has been a huge catalyst for Leicester’s great season, with his 17 goals the highest mark in the League. He scored when these two sides met in December, and I like his chances of doing so again against a shaky Man City defense. Suggested Bet: Jamie Vardy Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.50* Arsenal vs Everton 10th placed Arsenal are undefeated in their last six Premier League fixtures and come into this match off the back of a confidence boosting 4-0 win over Newcastle. Everton (9th) are in form as well. Undefeated in five Premier League outings, they are just seven points outside of the top four, while being two points clear of Arsenal. New manager Mikel Arteta has Arsenal playing very aggressive football, with Aubameyang, Lacazzette, Pepe and Ozil all starting. This line-up produced the four goal drubbing of Newcastle and looks the core of a very dangerous attack moving forward. Everton’s last loss came on New Year’s Day against Manchester City. Though impressive, their opposition since then is far from a who’s who of the League (Watford, Newcastle, Brighton, West Ham and Crystal Palace). Arsenal looked particularly menacing against Newcastle and I’m happy to back them in to have too much firepower here. Suggested Bet: Match Result Arsenal @ $2* *Odds correct as at 1.30pm, 20th February 2020. Market Market
