Manchester City vs Paris St Germain

An incredible second half performance saw Manchester City come away with an all-important 2-1 away win in the first leg. City are well known for imploding in Champions League matches, so this game will carry an extra layer of intrigue.

PSG have struggled (relatively) at home with their last five defeats (all competitions) all coming at Parc de Princes. On the road, PSG rely more on the counter-attack, a style that suits their stars perfectly and has seen them win their last 10 games away from home.

PSG will come into this match looking to attack from the outset, an exciting and scary proposition. Neymar is a big game player, as is Kylian Mbpappe. The French superstar has scored seven goals in his last six appearances for PSG, and with the shackles removed, could singlehandedly be the difference in this second leg.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid

Chelsea sit in the driver’s seat in this semi final matchup after the opening leg 1-1 draw. The Blues took the lead at the 14 minute mark, with Karim Benzema equalising soon after in an otherwise dour affair in Madrid.

Real Madrid is now in the tough position of needing to score against one of (if not the) best defenses in Europe. This is no easy task with Chelsea keeping a clean sheet in four of their last five Champions League fixtures, and it also leaves them vulnerable up on the counter.

Stamford Bridge has become a fortress for Chelsea with eight of their last 10 home matches resulting in clean sheets. Real Madrid will need to takes risks, while the Blues just need to execute their defensive strategy and capitalise on any lapses down the other end.
