Shayne Williams’ Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 26, 2026February 27, 2026 | Posted by Richard Quance CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 6 West On Model Back at Cannington how good, West On Model is having her first go at the 715 and has had a good grounding with four 652 metre runs at Mandurah, she looks to the eye that she will run the extra 63 metres no problem. More importantly she looks like she can find the front and then just try to hang on, obviously on a galaxy path so hopefully can run well. Tips: 6-8-5-2 Race 5 No. 2 Just A Lad He’s your classic get back run on stayer, and in a race where there’s a stack of early speed, they can’t all lead and that will leave a few vulnerable at the back end of the 715, this bloke will be charging home, just needs to negotiate the traffic along the way. Each way all day. Tips: 2-6-1-5 Race 10 No. 2 Nangar Onyxv Looks really well placed in this country grade 5/6 race. Last time he raced here he was a nice winner in 29.84, not the best beginner but the low draw can allow him to track up kennel mate in box 1 who does like to race a few dogs off the fence. He has a nice motor Onyx and can rail up through first turn and turn on the jets up the back straight. Hard to roll. Tips: 2-1-7-4 Market Market
