Scott Embry’s Tuesday Bunbury Preview Posted on November 4, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 NATIVE CHIMES has been excellent at two runs back this preparation. First-up made a big run at the leaders before being gunned down by Special Choice and then second up was set a task when deep the trip making a sustained run behind Solarize in well above benchmark time. Her race to lose. CASA ROSADA comes from the same first-up race at Native Chimes and was stiff last start. SPECIAL BEAU is racing well and draws soft. INSTANT HIT improved at her second-up run. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – NATIVE CHIMES WIN Race 2 CHOKSLAM looks the winner. Debut effort was big doing her best work late behind Solarize and Native Chimes. That form could look even stronger after the opening race. Was unable to run down Megachino last start in a metro maiden but up to 1400 she should be winning. ALIMENTARIA races on the speed and deserves to break through soon. CARLTON CASTLE ran well on debut and draws to lead or box seat. WOTZ THE CHANCE can cross and give cheek. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – CHOKSLAM WIN Race 3 BLONDE WARRIOR looked sharp at trials when leading and powering clear late in relatively good time. Should lead them up and that’s clearly the place to be over the 1000m scamper at Bunbury. PROTECTED ACTION was not knocked around in a recent trial behind the smart Chatter Session. Second placing to Miss Tycoon and third placing to Power and Passion and Brave Contender is good enough for to win this fresh. CUBALLING is on debut but has shown above average ability at trials. LONDON MISS comes from the same trial as Blonde Warrior and was solid. Numbers: 7 – 2 – 4 – 8 Suggested Bet – BLONDE WARRIOR WIN Race 4 RED WARRIOR should lead and win. Her first-up assignment crossed after working in the early stages and was run down by Boomtastic who saluted at Ascot at her next start. Race was run 4.5L above benchmark and Brown should run them off their feet. DUNE MESSIAH has trialed well on a number of occasions for his debut. The most recent was running away from them and the two horses who finished behind him were targeted at their first up runs with Propeller scoring at Barker. WE’VE GOT DREAMS is a speedy filly returning. JAKESTAR next best. Numbers: 6 – 2 – 7 – 4 Suggested Bet – RED WARRIOR WIN Race 5 NIGHT SEESSION was a nice run on debut when finishing off strongly late into sixth behind Praying God and Mr Fahrenheit who both look like winning a few races between them. Sure to be improved for the outing and can go close here. MY HIDDEN JOUNREY trialed super but is yet to bring that to race day. DREAMY ALICE ran a nice race last time out. MALAKHI improved sharply second-up. Numbers: 8 – 5 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – NIGHT SESSION WIN Race 6 GOLDEN BONNEY is almost a month between runs but looks on paper to have found her race. Last start was brave when attempting to fight off Diamonds for All. They ran good time and she should lead this field and take catching. UNDER THE ARCHES is still a maiden after 21 starts. Consistent but finds one better. SUSPECTUS is a query at the trip but has been racing well. THE BLACK WATCH is in a bit of form and not impossible. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – GOLDEN BONNEY WIN Race 7 DRAGONFLIES is a maiden taking on C1 opposition but there is not a lot between them. He should roll forward from the gate and be there for a long way. GUNFLINT was the track record holder at Northam for around 2 hours when he broke his maiden. Draws far better than first-up when poor. SMART TYCOON continues to be the target of strong backing without firing a shot. LUNA ROSSA can show a turn of foot. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – DRAGONFLIES WIN Race 8 GILLESPIE is a hard horse to follow. He does a lot wrong in his racing and when there is bad luck to be found he can locate it. This race looks a very suitable option for him but patience is wearing thin. APPARITION was reasonable first-up but with a senior rider on here should improve out of sight. KING LOUIE was a video replay watchers dream last start but that is King Louie. MORNING SONG trialed well enough for a 1400 fresh. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – GILLESPIE WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 4,5,8 3,4,5,6,7 1,2,3 1,3,4 Market Market
