Race 1

I’M ICEY has trialed extremely well on two separate occasions this preparation. Showing speed in both and clocking strong time in both efforts. From the draw should enjoy an economical run and can win. CALAG drops out of a much stronger Saturday 3 year old race and should take up the running. LIL’ RED BIKINI went well on debut in the wrong part of the track. Improver. LUKE’S CHOICE will be winning races but again draws poorly.

Race 2

OVERTHOUGHT should roll to the top or sit outside of Across The Sea for Ryan Hill and if she can reproduce her debut performance on pace will be hard to gun down. Last start went back and was held up at crucial stages. MAGIC EMPIRE seems to find ways to get beaten. This looks another wonderful race for him. MISS D’AMINA was a big improver first start to second start. Made good ground late and caught the eye. REXFORD is there abouts and draws well.

Suggested Bet – OVERTHOUGHT EACHWAY

Race 3

SIR MAMBO was impressive first-up for the Martin Allan stable when well supported and running a quality race from off the speed. That was a fast run 1000m and he has the invaluable experience of being down the straight. PHANDIERI and MISS QUOTED both come from the same race and can figure in the minors. OUR MATE BOOTS trialed well and has shown ability in the past.

Suggested Bet – SIR MAMBO WIN

Race 4

LIES IN DISGUISE was no match for Friday Fillies first-up and then ran into a few sharper ones in the metro area last start. Has the speed to be in a position towards the outside fence and is always an eachway chance. THE BEACH ran good time to win first-up before shying away from the Stewards tower and dumping Chris Parnham. Can make it two from two. CARRANYA LASS is a nice progressive type resuming. HITCHIKER has speed and could be the blow out.

Race 5

REGAL MOON looks to be a class above rivals here and is perfectly placed by astute trainer Steele Casey. Lucy Warwick’s engagement also looks ideal with her likely to sit midfield with cover and unleash over them. She has been supported and competitive in far stronger than this over the last 12 months. ORAVA is progressive but coming out of a maiden into a C5 is a huge throw at the stumps. PARISA has Geraldton form but possesses a turn of foot. CITICHANT is more a 1000m type but can lead without challenge.

Suggested Bet – REGAL MOON WIN

Race 6

PLEAD THE FIFTH is getting closer and closer. Her last three runs have all been good enough to win a race of this nature and she draws to get the right run in transit. EYE ART won well last time out when hugging the rails to score. Does it tougher but looks capable. UNENDING should take up a more prominent position in running and may even lead them up. MEMOIRS OF PARIS will bob up soon. Don’t leave out.

Suggested Bet – PLEAD THE FIFTH EACHWAY

Race 7

FLAT BICCY was strong in the market in a Saturday Class 1 before being backed out and withdrawn behind the gates. This race is weaker and from the draw McGruddy can lead or hand-up to Flirty Friar’s. They look the two. FLIRTY FRIARS won well in maiden grade last start and the clock says it was as impressive as it looked. JUPITERS SUN is yet to fire for Keith Frost but keep safe. BANTRY can run a race here before heading to Kalgoorlie middle of the season.
