Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on July 10, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 LADIES OF LONDON and I HOPE YOU DANCE will take up nearly 100% of the market in what does look a match race on paper. Siding with LADIES OF LONDON who should again find the front for Paul Harvey. Run down last start and back to Pinjarra where on fine days the races have been rail dominated she gets another chance. I HOPE YOU DANCE was jumping out of the ground first-up in a slowly run race. BRAVE CALL hit the line well and caught the eye first-up. BEANIE can improve. Numbers: 8 – 9 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – LADIES OF LONDON WIN Race 2 WORTH SQUARE has a very impressive turn of foot but it only lasts between 100 and 150m and then he stops abruptly. Noske has ridden him both his starts this preparation where he has put the brakes on as soon as he has felt the whip so no doubt he will held up for one late run at them. MICHELLE MA BELLE is getting closer to a maiden win. SIMONELLY has hit the line hard both first-up and second-up. NICKODEMA trialed well and then was beaten out of sight on debut. Numbers: 2 – 7 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – WORTH SQUARE WIN Race 3 AMILLIONITE was given a 12/10 by Pike last start when making a long sustained run out wide. Ridden to perfection he got beaten by a filly who simply seemed to relish the Soft7 conditions on the day. Big query on the formline but looks to have found another perfect assignment. FIRESALE was only fair last start but the inside may not have suited. MUMSTHEONE is getting closer and closer but has had plenty of chances. JINDA NINJA is yet to really show up but this race is weak. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 1 – 11 Suggested Bet – AMILLIONITE WIN Race 4 DELTA BELLE steps out to a staying trip for the first time in her career and she will be awfully short but looks to have a turn of foot that nothing else in this field will be able to match. Sits midfield and should run straight past them. HIGHEST REGARD finds the front and is the one she’ll have to run down. AL’S FAMOUS hit the line very well fresh at a mile. Should be winning one this prep. TRIBULANA comes from a stable who can produce them out of no where at a trip. Numbers: 10 – 4 – 8 – 12 Suggested Bet – DELTA BELLE WIN Race 5 INDIGO WILD comes back to the 1000m straight where she has run two minor placings from two attempts. Third beaten under a length by Sir Mambo and subsequent straight winner Ay Tee Emm reads well and Pike could be looking at another field day. IT’S TIFF’S trialed really well and then put in a shocker on debut. Drawn the right side of the straight 5 to improve. SKY FIVE is trained locally and Pope’s horses normally fly down the straight. THE FINEST ran in some hot 3 year old races last preparation and has to be considered. Numbers: 7 – 10 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – INDIGO WILD WIN Race 6 WIENER WALTZ was huge winning last start. The race was run over 4 lengths above average and he punched the breeze three deep outside the leader. Seven Castles has come out and won in style at Bendigo and drawn the right side he should be too slick for rivals. AY TEE EMM ran really good time and cruised to victory last start. Interesting to see if the 3kg claimer makes her way down the middle or comes across toward the outside. SMART FOX was scratched from Wednesday to be saved for this. Lost no admirers in defeat first-up. ASCOT GOLD can’t be discounted after a strong effort in a quality race last start. Numbers: 6 – 3 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – WIENER WALTZ WIN Race 7 BRITISH BESSY is yet another plumb ride for W.Pike. Two staying wins were emphatic and in blistering time and then last start dropping back to 1700 sat off a fairly moderate tempo and was unable to pick up the leaders who ran 1st and 2nd. Back to a staying trip here, she looks awfully hard to beat. MEKONG DEN has hit form and will be right in the firing line. DIPLOMAT EXPRESS is hard to catch but on his day could swoop past them all. WESTERN STAR will stay all day. Interesting to see where Harvey places her but could make a mid race move. Numbers: 6 – 7 – 3 – 12 Suggested Bet – BRITISH BESSY WIN Race 8 STORMY RULER lead them up and was run down quite comfortably first-up but the sections clocked were strong with the overall race time almost two lengths above average. Parnham should find the front with ease here and controls the race. If the track is suiting those on the rails and those on speed he’ll be hard to reel in. EARLY EXPLORER has a nice turn of foot and looks like the kind of horse who will only improve with racing. I’M PRETTY is going well and can race forward or rearward. FINANCIAL SUPPORT is dropping sharply back in trip. Jury is still out as to level of ability but Pike will give him every possible. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 9 – 5 Suggested Bet – STORMY RULER WIN Race 9 BEAT THE BELL was probably a good thing licked two starts ago when finding traffic at the wrong times and then last start was sent back to wait for the cutaway run on a day where the winners were all coming from four and five horses off the fence. Even race, will need luck but has the ability. SKY ATLAS and THE ESCORT both come from the same race and were both as good, if not better runs. Both can win this. FOUR WHITE FOX is no star but Pike could be going for four or five winners by this stage and the first-up effort was strong. Numbers: 10 – 8 – 9 – 6 Suggested Bet – BEAT THE BELL EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,2,3,6 3,6,7,12 3 FIELD Market Market
