Scott Embry’s Sunday Pinjarra Preview Posted on April 24, 2020April 24, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 SAMSURIAN gets his chance at this third career start. Most importantly he can find the front with Shaun McGruddy going on. Lots of first starters and his experience can take him a long way. EXQUISITE STAR draws horribly for her debut but did show a bit at trials and with any luck can run a cheeky race on debut. GHOBELLA was super on debut and even though was beaten 6L Real Grace should prove a strong form reference. CANT STOP NOW also another nice trial on debut. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – SAMSURIAN WIN RACE 2 STELLA DOOR is a question mark at 1200m but gets William Pike and comes out of a strong form race. Ran second to Captain Kink who is a nice 3 year old and held off Queen of Soul who was finishing strong late. LIES N DECEPTION draws poorly and was given every chance last start by Jade McNaught. Previous run strong in 3 year old company. DANTANG was actually a good run on debut and was immediately tipped out. NOT MY FIGHT next best from the draw fresh. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 7 Suggested Bet – STELLA DOOR WIN RACE 3 CREZEE has had a long campaign, this is start number 10 in his first preparation as a horse but dropping back into maiden grade he gets one last chance. He has some staying ability and hasn’t enjoyed the best runs in transit over his career. REDMILL leads and was attacked a long way from home 13 days ago. BLACK RANSOM has a few gear changes and has looked a stayer in the making. FREQUENT FRIAR is clearly going to appreciate the ground. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – CREZEE WIN RACE 4 TRUTIARA is 49 days between runs and draws an awkward gate but she really won’t get many better opportunities. This is not a strong maiden and she definitely has the speed to overcome the draw. Gets her chance fresh. JAKESTAR had absolutely no luck last start but no guarantee he’ll get any luck here. KING CRUZER has the shades going on and caught the eye on debut. HIGH INTENSITY showed enough at trials to figure on debut. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – TRUTIARA WIN RACE 5 COSTA DEL SANTO was declared a late scratching and a non runner at the first-up assignment. What he needs in his races is hot top end tempo and he gets exactly that here. Mitch Pateman will sit midfield and present late. MICHELLE MA BELLE drops in grade and looks to have found a new lease on life and improvement under the care of Wendy Miller. BLAZING BILLY lead and won soft last start in maiden company. Does it tougher from the draw. PLAYING RED was too bad to be true last start. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – COSTA DEL SANTO EACHWAY RACE 6 SPECIALISM was a big query at a mile last start but was ridden well by Victoria Corver and attacked the line hard. Drawn an awkward gate but gets in with a very winnable 56.5kg and that race has produced a metro placing with Sentimental Friend and a provincial winner San Crispino. MY FAIR BALENTINE comes back in grade and was finishing off well in a tougher race last start. TWENYTHREE RED is capable of improving quickly into a campaign. PORPHYRIO won well last start. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – SPECIALISM WIN RACE 7 ABERDEEN QUEEN was able to settle off the speed and launch late last start. Scratched from a 3 year old race on Wednesday which contained both Tradensia and Power of St George. Wise move to go here, far more suitable. AVALON BAY ran a good race at his first start for the Harvey camp last time out. SUNOL an improver at a price. UBER MOVER not disgraced at his WA debut. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – ABERDEEN QUEEN WIN RACE 8 IRRITABLE RODNEE looks like he is a big, awkward, new and green 3 year old but also looks to have a serious level of ability. He should only improve with race experience and is capable of carrying 60.5kg and from the gate should settle right over the speed and give a big kick. FINANCE has caught the eye a little at both runs this preparation. Keeping safe at a price. FIRESALE is more than capable and a definite winning chance for a powerful combination. AMILLIONITE ran well fresh. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 7 – 6 Suggested Bet – IRRITABLE RODNEE WIN RACE 9 TRUMP THIS was super first start for the new stable. Tiarnna Robertson should be winning a fair few races with this galloper who has had absolutely minimal luck in Western Australia since arriving. From the better draw and up in trip he can win this. RESISTANCE is flying. Comes from a super strong race last start behind Lorentinio and Utgard Loki. Hard to beat in this grade. IM PRETTY always a winning chance from a soft draw with William Pike. ON THE TURPS needs to gain a start but if he does is a winning hope. Numbers: 11 – 6 – 12 – 14 Suggested Bet – TRUMP THIS WIN Quaddie (R6 – R9) 1,2,4,5,8 1,2 1,2,6,7 6,11,12,(14) Market Market
