Scott Embry’s Saturday Dongara Preview Posted on April 18, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 LOCKLEAR was stretched out over a trip last campaign but astute horseman Beeps Rogers but freshened up, back in trip and Autier into the saddle he looks hard to beat. Trial was good and this field is soft. MASCHERANO would give some cheek if able to cross from the wide alley. CHASING THE ACE continues to run places but has about a 42m sprint. SET THE DET one to keep safe at odds. Numbers: 11 – 1 – 10 – 4 Suggested Bet – LOCKLEAR WIN Race 2 LIQUID DINNA ran some nice races over the short course in the metro and provincial area early in his campaign. From the gate he should get a lovely run and could prove the value runner. SWEET TALKIN’ has ability and has been up a long time but if getting luck from the gate can play a part. SPIRITED ACTION has some gear changes in an attempt to sharpen up. Previous form sound. BOBCAT BOY has been getting closer and closer but draws poorly. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 8 – 3 Suggested Bet – LIQUID DINNA EACHWAY Race 3 LOVE TRADE should be suited in this race. She has been racing very well and consistently all preparation. Can lead this field and go for home on the corner. DANEHILL MATILDA is the class runner but 62.5kg is no easy task. MIKIMOTO GIFT was a sharp improver last start and another with good speed. SUPPOSITION will win races for new connections but gets off them in the run. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – LOVE TRADE WIN Race 4 SPORTING IMAGE ran three nice placings at Gero earlier this campaign. On the fresh side and with no weight on the back if Southam can get him across to sit outside the leader he’ll go very close. IDIOSYNCRASY is a hard one to gauge but overall race form for this is strong enough. STORMY PLANET finds a new home and can run a race. STRIDE OUT worth inclusion at odds. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 8 – 9 Suggested Bet – SPORTING IMAGE WIN Race 5 I’M A LOVEMAN has hit form at the right time and there is no doubt that every person on course will get tipped him. If Brian Rogers pulls the wallet off the trackies to get busy he’s worth following. Will try and out stay them. WONORG is a country cups veteran and can add another trophy to an already full cabinet. GALAXY BLAZE will find this lengths easier than the Gero Cup. SEA TRYST could be the blow out. Numbers: 8 – 1 – 3 – 10 Suggested Bet – I’M A LOVEMAN Race 6 MAJESTIC MAN has always looked a galloper who could measure up in the provincial area in the right race with the right run. Draws soft and The Boond should put him into a lovely spot to give him every chance. EXCELLENT JERRY would be every hope if Autier crosses to lead. RIGHTO has been a disappointing last two. Previous form strong. JEUNDIS is always a chance in this grade. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 7 – 2 Suggested Bet – MAJESTIC MAN WIN Quaddie (Race 3 – 6) 1,4,6 7 1,8 2,3,5,7 Market Market
