Oli Cownie’s Tuesday Gloucester Park Preview Posted on July 9, 2024July 9, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch Race 1 SEAGRASS (4) has a class edge on a lot of her rivals in this race. She was a winner four starts ago leading all the way. Her efforts since have had merit and she was only beaten a small margin by Majic Bay at Northam who’s since run well again. TORREVEAN PINKY (1) should have the gate speed early to dictate who she hands up to, has been racing extremely well with a sit having finished second in her last 4 starts. ROSIES LAST ATTACK (5) broke through two runs ago for a second career win. Returns from a spell after a good trial behind Its Justashotaway. RECOVER LOVER (7) has done most her recent racing over the Lightning Lap at Pinjarra. Her most recent Gloucester Park effort was a good one running on strongly late. Tips: 4 1 5 7 Suggested Bet: SEAGRASS (4) win. Race 2 JOHNNY LOMBO (5) battled on well last start after sitting in the breeze on a fast tempo. Likely to be put into the race again. MAKE IT QUICK (2) appeared to be travelling easily two back without the clearest passage late. Last time out just battled late. Back to the middle distance and another run under the belt both help. DISCO UNDER FIRE (6) was doing his best work late last start once clear. IL BANDITO (12) returned from a spell with a promising fourth before leading and over racing. Tips: 5 2 6 12 Suggested Bet: MAKE IT QUICK (2) each way. Race 3 MY LITTLE BIG MAN (1) has good gate speed so can utilise the favourable draw. He made up plenty of ground in the concluding stages last time out. GET YA BETS ON (3) appeared to be travelling easily last start without a run in behind them, draws much closer to the inside in this race. TRUNKEY CARRAWA (7) was a distant second behind Insta Gator, in extremely fast time last start at Pinjarra. This looks much easier, despite the awkward draw he can play a part. SIDSTREPO (5) was the first horse 3 wide a long way out, battled on quite well late in the race for a horse that’s not known for his toughness. Tips: 1 3 7 5 Suggested Bet: GET YA BETS ON (3) each way. Race 4 ADDA SPOILT MAJOR (1) is first up since April without a trial. He possesses great gate speed and holds the key to the early map. Drops in grade from what he was racing last time in. FRANCO WESTERN (2) closed strongly last time out late in the race and draws to do no work. ROCK ME OVER (3) was able to win from back in the first sitting off a strong tempo. AMERICAN BULLITT (4) is rarely far away, without winning often. He will get back and if the speed is on he can figure in the finish. Tips: 1 2 3 4 Suggested Bet: ADDA SPOILT MAJOR (1) to win. Race 5 RATTLIN LILY (4) was a quite incredible winner last time out when sitting 3 deep for most of the run. Beat similar opposition there and however things pan out she looks hardest to beat. TORREVEAN AMY (1) has options from the draw, was able to win well three runs ago when leading all the way. HENGHENG (2) winner three runs ago when leading, if he can find that position again he looks a hope. CRY HAVOC (6) is first up in the in form Padburg stable and was a last start winner. Tips: 4 1 2 6 Suggested Bet: RATTLIN LILY (4) win. Race 6 GOODEALEHMADDIE (3) was an eye catching run recently at Pinjarra when running second from last. She backed that good run up with an unlucky fifth last time out at Gloucester Park. Draws well and looks hard to beat. JACKIE DANIELS (2) took on Penny Black last start and never got into the race. Her last few efforts have not been up to her best, she can improve from the good draw. ALLAGLOW (6) gets back to racing against fillies and mares after taking on a strong race last start. ADORE ME SOME MORE (8) secured a good run last time out and was able to finish second behind Make Your Mark. Tips: 3 2 6 8 Suggested Bet: GOODEALEHMADDIE (3) to win. Race 7 WALSH (8) went out a heavily supported favourite last time out and was hopelessly unlucky held up without a run to the line. This is easier than some of his recent outings. CHAMBRAY (7) can forgive her last start effort with an issue being reported from that run. UNLUCKY (9) elected to take the trail last time out on Blackrock and was well beaten. She faces a tricky task from gate 9 but does have the ability. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (3) draws well and can be thereabouts if able to find the rails. Tips: 8 7 9 3 Suggested Bet: WALSH (8) win. Race 8 CORK CAN RUN (1) smart colt that’s shown promise from very early on in his career. He has good gate speed, should prove extremely hard to catch. RAJAH ROCKS (2) draws ideally to drop straight onto the back of the short priced favourite, from there will get every hope. Eye catching 4th on his most recent outing. SOHO SKYFALL (4) raced well second up from a spell last time out behind the smart Tualou. Shouldn’t be too far off them in this. VINNIES STAR (6) promising return winning after starting outside the back row at Pinjarra. Draws awkwardly in this race and the minor end of the money looks best. Tips: 1 2 4 6 Suggested Bet: CORK CAN RUN (1) & RAJAH ROCKS (2) Quinella Race 9 NO NONEY (1) possessed great gate speed when previously racing for the De Campo stable and holds the key to the early speed battle. First up for nearly a year and a half following one trial he may not want to get too involved early. BANK NOTICE (6) has previously shown good gate speed, if he can get over at the start he looks the horse to beat. ROCKABILITY (8) zipped over early and ran a clear second to Mandown who appears a horse that’s likely to work through the grades. Tips: 6 1 8 4 Suggested Bet: BANK NOTICE (6) win. Race 10 UPTOWN LAD (5) impressive winner of his last two starts, appears to be delivering on early promise. Looks well placed in this race and steps quickly from the stand. BONNIE RAE (2) finished second off 40 metres two runs ago behind Thats Not My Gait. Big gap between runs prior to last start should be better for the outing. ONE OVER DA SON (1) starting off 50 metre handicaps his last two starts he was never a factor. Starts off the front in this race and comes into this race third up. STAY FOCUSED (6) was a last start winner, faced by a more difficult task here off 20 metres. Tips: 5 2 1 6 Suggested Bet: ONE OVER DA SON (1) to place. Market Market
