Ran a cracking race here last start over the 588 metres when run down in the shadows of the post by the smart Acheron and the time of 34.29 was most impressive. Has competition from the dogs drawn in boxes one and three but with a repeat of last week’s effort they’ll have to be good to beat him. ALUMINUM (Race 8 Number 2): In-form sprinter who has won his last 4 starts, two over the 490 metres at Mandurah and two here over the 509 metres. Last week’s win here over this trip was a superb effort when he led throughout in a best of night time of 29.46. Has been getting out of the boxes with real zest and while this lineup has its share of quality Aluminum stands out. Can make it 5 straight tonight. EISENHOWER (Race 9 Number 1): Hot young chaser who has won all three starts at this venue and came from this box four starts ago at the Meadows when successful over the 515 metres. Has won here in a slashing 29.21, a time which very few canines are capable of getting near. Science and You Choose are both coming off smart last start performances but with the aid of the inside draw Eisenhower should get his chance to prevail. Loves racing at this circuit.
