Scott’s Wednesday Northam Preview Posted on October 18, 2017October 18, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 SHE’S VITAL should stalk a very hot speed and if she can re-produce her run of two starts ago should be there abouts. LADY TALENT trialed extremely well with blinkers, interesting that they are not applied here. CLASSY MARCY has a myriad of gear chances, trialed quick. FROSTY BAY next. Numbers: 6 – 10 – 7 – 5 Suggested Bet – SHE’S VITAL EACHWAY Race 2 COME PLAY WITH ME looks a class above rivals and destined for bigger and better wins. BLACK AND RED was good on debut at York, the step up in trip looks ideal. MOSCHARD trialed impressively on two occasions, yet to really wow at the races. AVASTAAR looks a real grinder. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 5 – 2 Suggested Bet – COME PLAY WITH ME WIN Race 3 MASSA MAC was an eye catcher first-up before finding a ton of trouble second-up. He can settle handy to the speed and can definitely win. BOLLINGER BOY has been well supported at his last two into favourite, he looks a handy type. BRISTOL ROAD is a massive grinding animal who needs to get rolling. MAYBE ONE MORE gets one final chance. Numbers: 5 – 8 – 4 – 2 Suggested Bet – MASSA MAC EACHWAY SuperPick - Race 3 No.5 MASSA MAC - Money Back Race 4 VINO BENETEAU leads them up and both his runs this preparation have been solid enough to go close in this. POWERCRAFT trialed well from a long way back, he looks like he’ll need every inch of this race. SUPERIOR SMILE takes on the older horses, his form is very consistent. MISS MEIKA doesn’t win out of turn but should get every possible from the inside. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – VINO BENETEAU EACHWAY Race 5 MARTARELLO has trialed very well on both occasions this time in. The blinkers went on at the most recent and she charged late. NOBEL SUSPECT was well supported late in betting at his latest outing and didn’t give a yelp. He’s better than that. SHELLYLOUSAN was beaten a long way, but behind a number of nice types first-up. CYBERSPACE is one paced but next best. Numbers: 11 – 3 – 10 – 2 Suggested Bet – MARTARELLO WIN Race 6 SEE ME SIZZLE did every thing he could wrong first-up. Senior rider back aboard has to be a big positive for a horse who clearly has ability but a lot of head issues. YEAH DARDY was an emphatic first-up winner and just found Saturday grade a little sharp. NIGHT VOYAGE should appreciate a little weight relief. WOODMANS KEEP next. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – SEE ME SIZZLE WIN Race 7 MAGIC LAS VEGAS gets out to a trip for the first time this campaign and also gets his first chance to settle on top of the speed. BORN BLUE goes back and runs on hard late in most of his races. REGAL ROGUE is hard to catch but good enough when right. FLIGHT OF FANCY could be the blow out here with a few ticks to his name. Numbers: 7 – 3 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – MAGIC LAS VEGAS EACHWAY Race 8 BEAUCOUNT has put together two very nice runs for his new stable. He gets back along the inside and will pull hard but if he gets a tow into the cutaway could pounce late. PINBALL WIZARD was excellent first-up and no better than four wide second-up. DON’T FUSS has ability but is still green. INVINCIBLE MODE to improve. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – BEAUCOUNT EACHWAY Quaddie (Races 5 – 8) 3,10,11 2,3 1,3,7,9 3,4,6,9 Bet Now
