NBL – Cairns Taipans vs Adelaide 36ers Posted on February 4, 2016 | Posted by Sportsbettingmax.com Friday February 5, 4.30 PM (WST), Cairns Convention Centre Can the Sixers bounce back after a terrible performance against the Breakers on Wednesday? Game rating –Taipans 85 v Adelaide 88 Adelaide were horrid without Jerome Randle on Wednesday losing to the Breakers at home (84-106) and in doing so the series against NZ. They were stone cold from the floor averaging 39% from the field and 23% from outside the arc. Without Randle the three pointers dried up and Ebi Ere went missing with only nine points. They were also let down by the bench with only 20 points coming from off the pine. They now have to travel to Cairns to try and find form against the Leagues scrappers the Taipans. Cairns were too good for the Kings (81-76) and previous to that at home had beaten the Breakers (90-87). Prediction Adelaide lead the series 2-1 after playing Cairns at home in Rounds 3 and 4. In Game 1 the Sixers were too good (88-79) but in Game 2 the Taipans played their game of the year, winning away (101-104) in a thriller. Game 3 played in Cairns during Round 8 saw the Sixers win (83-88) with Jerome Randle scoring 28 points. Cairns have the fire power through Gliddon, Starks and Bruce to worry the Sixers offensively and with the improving Torey Craig, Mark Worthington and Cam Tragardh they have inside power. The Sixers need Ere to fire but on the back-up with travel to Cairns and no Jerome they look to be in trouble. Cairns to win and cover the spread. Suggested Bets Option 1 – Cairns to win at $1.45 Option 2 – Cairns to cover the -4.5 at $1.87 Option 3 – Game Total UNDER (provided it is set no lower than 170.5) Bet suggestions 64 from 87 @ 74% bet now
