Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on July 6, 2018July 6, 2018 | Posted by Michael McDermott Cannington Friday 6th July 2018 Race 5 – No. 2 Ruby’s Chapta Best Bet Handy beginner drawn favourably. Likely to find this easier than recent midfield placings against Quick Jagger and Trouper Monelli. Expected to be fighting out the finish. Race 6 – No. 4 Max Profit Star WA sprinter who returns from a spell. A winner in 3 of 4 over this trip and should prove hard to catch if he puts his best paw forward from the boxes. Race 10 – No. 1 Panchorama Last start winner from the opposite side of the draw in quick time. This field has more depth but he has the advantage of his first rails draw and is capable of the upset. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 7th July 2018 Race 2 – No. 3 Tallulah Showed a glimpse of form last week when returning to the trip, finishing 2nd after racing prominently throughout. Drawn to do so again and is capable of going one better. Race 4 – No. 1 Astrozone Best Bet Talented chaser who has been mixing form of late but he has been handed his favourite draw and should not let it go to waste. Race 8 – No. 2 Lhotse Monelli Will be better for his 520m debut last week when racing prominently throughout for 3rd behind Cropduster from the squeeze box. The improved draw helps and he should give this a real shake. Race 10 – No. 1 Sprightly Fella Has been in solid form from awkward draws since switching to headquarters, finishing in the top two in each so far. Drawn perfectly and can continue on with his good form.
