Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on May 25, 2018 | Posted by Michael McDermott Cannington Friday 25th May 2018 Race 6 – No. 2 Mephititdae SuperPick (Win Boost) A winner in 2 of 3 over the trip, both in slick times and by hefty margins when leading all the way in each. Drawn to replicate those impressive efforts again. Race 7 – No. 7 Shared Bonus Veteran who continues to race well week in, week out. Unplaced in his only run over the trip but the draw should suit him from the awkward start point and it would not surprise to see him lead all the way. Race 10 – No. 2 Herkle Li A model of consistency, having yet to miss a place in all 7 starts over the trip. She’s also led all the way at her last 2 at the track in quick times and while she won’t be at any great odds, she is an obvious multi booster. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 26th May 2018 Race 3 – No. 1 Limitless A mad railer who has a marvellous record in red, winning 5 of 9 from the inside box so far. Recent times have been sound and if he can rail up underneath his rivals at the first turn, he should be playing a huge part in the finish. Race 5 – No. 1 Cropduster SuperPick (Place Boost) The best effort of her career was from this very draw when posting a PB of 29.93 back in December. She has only won the once since but hasn’t been far away either and is capable of causing the upset in a wide open WA Oaks Final. Race 11 – No. 5 Rockhold Placed behind West On Augie in a WA Derby heat prior to a luckless 6th in the final last week. He will find this much easier though and looks hard to beat if overcoming the awkward draw. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 / 1, 2, 3, 7 / 1, 7 / 2. $50 for 41.66% TRIFECTA – Race 11 2, 5, 7 / 2, 5, 7 / 1, 2, 5, 7. $30 for 250% FIRST FOUR – Race 8 2 /1, 4, 6/1, 3, 4, 6/1, 3, 4, 6, 7. $50 for 138.88% Bet Now!
