Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on July 28, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 28th July 2017 Race 2 – No. 7 West On Ruby Handy beginner who led for a long way in 2 of 3 runs over this trip only to be run down at the business end. Can handle a wide draw and is worth giving one more chance to hang on to one tonight. Race 5 – No. 8 Bill’s Desire Making his 490m debut and resumes from a spell but he has performed well fresh in the past and has had the benefit of a recent trial. He does his best work from out wide and must be kept safe in this line up. Race 11 – No. 3 Black Herc SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) He’s not the best of beginners but he can muster quickly and he has been a model of consistency with top 4 finishes in 21 of his last 22 starts. He has a good record over this trip as well and will prove hard to hold out at the finish. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 29th July 2017 Race 2 – No. 5 Got Us Good Strong chaser who has yet to win in 4 runs over the journey but he has his best chance yet in this easier line up. He was finishing off nicely on the heels of placegetters last week and is definitely worth an Each Way ticket in this. Race 7 – No. 2 Shared Bonus Veteran chaser who led all the way on Wednesday from a similar draw when posting a slick 21.69. He is a winner in 5 of his last 7 and looks set to keep the good times rolling. Race 8 – No. 3 Neil Monelli SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Sat closer than usual when resuming last week and showed what he is capable of, posting a best of the night 29.80 and winning by nearly 10 when jumping from this draw. This field has more depth but he’ll strip fitter for the run and looks far too good again.
