Mandurah Friday 19th May 2017

Race 3 – No. 3  Brock On

Nice effort when returning from a spell, finishing 3rd in 23.06. He has gone as quick as 22.51 in the past and from the improved draw he should take plenty of beating now he is fitter.

Race 4 – No. 2  Crowman    SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Place)

Well-bred chaser who produced a solid effort when resuming from a spell, finishing 3rd in 23.17. Another who’ll be fitter for the run and has the ability to cause a bit of an upset at odds from the handy draw.

Race 7 – No. 2  Desert Rampage

Has been thereabouts without winning of late from this draw and similar. He has won 6 of 11 over this trip in the past and should he ping the lids and avoid the trouble he has been finding, he is a big chance of topping the podium.

Race 2 – No. 1  West on Maisie

Has held her own against much stronger opposition than this, winning a Perth Cup Consolation and a Sandi’s Me Mum Final this year. Has had no luck in 3 runs since but she is 3 from 3 from the draw and should find her winning best here.

Race 4 – No. 2 Art Noveau

Won a heat of the Puppy Classic by 7 lengths in a flying 29.51 before having no luck at all in the final from this draw. Resumed with a dominant 12 length victory when on debut over 600m last start and has been freshened up again. Hard to see her being beaten in this.

Race 6 – No. 1  Vanderworp    SuperPick Money Back, Run 2nd

Has come up with the coveted red rug, the first in his short career. Getting quicker with each run over the trip and these High Recall pups grow an extra leg when gifted this draw. Looks the early leader and with trouble expected for a few of his rivals drawn wider, he should be able to pinch this.
