Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on August 14, 2020August 14, 2020 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 14th August 2020 Race 2 – No. 2 Manado Magic Zippy beginner who led all the way from this very draw in her only start over the trip, saluting by over 6 lengths. This is tougher but she is back in form and can go on with it now. Race 4 – No. 1 Par Peppi Showed last start what he has promised for a while when leading all the way in a smart 22.86 from this very draw break his MDN status. Won’t find this much tougher and can double up with confidence back on his side. Race 5 – No. 1 Quartararo Massive in defeat last week when first up from a break, overcoming plenty of bother and making up a huge amount of ground to go down by less than a length in 27.77. Drawn superbly and hard to see him being beaten this time around. Each Way: Race 8 – No. 2 Sweet As Fate Out of form but dropping a long way in grade and was a winner in similar company 5 starts ago when last exiting this box. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1 / 2.5.7 / 1.2.4.6 / 1.2.4 $50 for 138.88% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 15th August 2020 Race 6 – No. 3 Regal Twist Exploded from the boxes to lead all the way over 405m at Mandurah in 22.58, defeating a handy line up in the process. Bumps into a few more here but a similar jump should see her continue on her winning way. Race 8 – No. 3 Magical Fun Ultra-consistent performer who has only missed the place once in 7 tries over this trip. Will be hard to catch if she produces her customary early pace. Race 9 – No. 7 West On Roger Talented up and comer who is searching for 4 in a line. That streak includes all the way wins at his past two from this very draw, in slick times and by big margins and looks hard to run down once again. Each Way: Race 5 – No. 2 Scootaloo Capable type who has finished on the podium more often than not in 14 starts over the 520m. Can be risky early but she will be doing her best work at the business end and has drawn to play a part in the finish. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 1.2.4.5 / 3.5.8 / 1.2.4.6.8 / 1.3 $50 for 41.66% Trifecta – Race 8 1.3 / 1.3 / 2.5.6.7.8 $30 for 300% First Four – Race 9 7 / 3.6.8 / 2.3.6.8 / 1.2.3.4.6.8 $50 for 138.88% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Sunday, 16th August 2020 Race 5 – No. 2 Lady Baba Yet to finish further back than 2nd in two runs over the trip and has only missed the place once in 7 starts so far. Has the best draw of her short career and will take plenty of catching if she produces her best jump. Race 8 – No. 1 Hairpin Trigger Backmarker who possesses a powerful finish. Not disgraced on Wednesday from this draw when bumping into a star in the making and she should find this more to her liking. Hard to hold out. Race 10 – No. 4 Romario While he has failed to flatter when unplaced over the trip in all of his last 5, he will be suited by the small field and should not find this a tough as recent outings. Worth following. Bet Now! Bet Now!
