Race 1 – No. 2  Stratosphere – SuperPick Money Back Run 2nd

Won his Maiden from this draw in a slick 27.66 back in early January. Has only won the once since but he meets an easier line up tonight and will prove hard to beat if he stays out of trouble.

Race 8 – No. 2  Olivia Benson

Found a bit of form with a last start 3rd over the shorter 490m last week. Surrounded by slow beginners and has finished in the top 2 in 5 of 6 here. Sure to take plenty of catching.

Race 9 – No. 3  Impressive Levy

Handy type who has had excuses in tougher line ups than this of late. He is capable of a quick jump on his night and has yet to miss a place from the draw. Worth an Each Way ticket in this.

Good beginner who will appreciate the drop in distance. Surrounded by moderate beginners and has his best chance yet to break through for his first victory since November last year.

Race 5 – No. 2  Nordic Warlord

Has been knocking on the door for a while now, finishing in and around the placing’s in all but 1 start since he last saluted. The inside draw assists and he does possess a powerful finish. Look for him late.

Race 12 – No. 3  Dandalup Brutus

Versatile chaser who broke the track record over this trip 2 runs ago. He is in search of a hat trick and it is hard to see him being beaten in this.
