Having his first run over 405m for the year  but he does his best work over this trip and will be running on late.

Race 6 – No. 3   Nando’s Thunder

Has been racing without much luck of late but if things go his way, he can cause the upset at big odds.

Race 7 – No. 3  Vee Bee Mate

Recent times over the trip have been impressive and he will be suited by the small line up and improved draw.

Talented chaser with a strong finish. He will appreciate the improved draw and after a gallant 4^th in his Perth Cup heat last week, he looks a strong chance of taking out Consolation 2.

Race 8 – No. 1  Garbrandt

Strong type who will be relying on early luck but with a clear run into the first turn, he is capable of repeating his all the way 29.67 victory from this very draw 3 runs ago.

Race 9 – No. 1  Poppy Monelli

Has plenty of versatility, winning from 490m up to 715m. She does her best over this 520m distance though, winning 10 of 31 with a further 9 placings and has an obsession with the red rug. Class should prevail here.
