Race 4 – No. 2  Sapphire Rose

Gave a bold sight when leading a long way for second on debut from a similar draw in 30.43. Fitter for the run and can go one better in this.

Race 8 – No. 1  Van Buren

Impressed on debut over the journey when saluting by over 7 lengths in May but has only been placed once since over a variety of distances. A winner in his only start in red and can bounce back in his return to 600m.

Race 9 – No. 1  Polly’s Ariana

Not the best of beginners but she will appreciate the rails draw where she can save ground and finish strongly underneath tiring runners. Hard to hold out at the business end.
