Matt Young’s Tuesday Narrogin Preview Posted on September 23, 2025September 23, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 TROUBADOUR (6) looks well placed and has only tasted defeat once but looks to bounce back to winning form here and should get the job done. CAPTAINS CREEK (7) hit the line well last time out and has a draw which requires some luck but expecting him to run strongly to the line. BEAUDIENE HUNTER (8) looks to have good ability, did things wrong in his WA debut but trialled up well since and must be considered. Looks a distinct gap to the rest with SHES ALL GO (1) and DAMAGE DONE (5) the next best for a novelty perspective. Tips: 6 7 8 5 Suggested Bet: TROUBADOUR/CAPTAINS CREEK to quinella. Race 2 WORLD SECRET (9) didn’t have the world perfect trip last time out and wanted to get keen at certain stages but was still good enough to win and win well in good time, looks like she is on the right track with the new stable and appears hard to beat in this. BOBBY WATERHOUSE (5) on the quick backup after doing plenty of work on Sunday at Kellerberrin, looks like he could run a bold race here. MADDY ROCKS (4) has come back well, looks a decent novelty chance. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (6) and MY GRAND ANGUS (8) are both capable. Tips: 9 5 4 8 Suggested Bet: WORLD SECRET (9) to win. Race 3 JOLTED CHARM (1) bounced back into the winners list last time out and has the good draw again, has the speed to lead and will take all types of catching. CRACKA TINNY (7) has the lovely draw and looks a good place chance if he can hold up leaders back in the run. HURRICANEHOPE (3) and HES THUNDER (5) are both first up for Michael Young and have tricky draws to work with but must be respected. KOLISI (2) is capable, and METEOROID (4) was just okay at Kellerberrin, but prior form had been strong. Tips: 1 7 3 5 Suggested Bet: JOLTED CHARM (1) to win. Race 4 Open race. GEE SMITH (7) hit the line powerfully last time out and looks to be close enough to the speed, with even luck he will be hard to hold out. SUKHOVEY WINDSTORM (1) has the nice draw and some speed, could attempt to lead and be cheeky. BLOCKJORG (2) is better suited here at the mile. AMERICAN MONARCH (8) back in winning form and will be running home strongly with a nice draw to follow through. BETTOR HAVE FAITH (9) can follow them into it and she has good closing speed as well. MAJOR CLASS (6) can bounce back, and ADMIRAL DARCY (5) has come back well. Tips: 7 8 1 9 Suggested Bet: GEE SMITH (7) to each way. Race 5 LADY CAMEL (1) has the draw to dominate, she hasn’t had a great deal of luck lately but has good gate speed and is a good rolling type, should get the job done here. TRAVELBAN (7) is impeccably drawn to play a part, will follow the favourite every step of the way and be dangerous if the run comes early enough. MISTER MACEDON (6) and MAJOR JAY (5) both likely to race forward and are good staying types. FLEUR DU MAQUIS (8) trialled well and looks a novelty chance. Tips: 1 7 6 5 Suggested Bet: LADY CAMEL (1) to win. Race 6 ROSE OF CLARE (5) is ready to win again, she hasn’t been as sharp in her runs tasting defeat but also has been racing soundly, expecting her to go close here. GOGGINS (4) was a big winner at Kellerberrin and is heading in the right direction, should run well again. ITSOKTOBEGREY (9) made a solid debut for the Chris Voak stable, he paced well and can go on with it now, keep safe. FUEGO CRUZADO (2) is a novelty chance, ideal draw. SUN AND SAND (8) a novelty chance and expecting her to run on. Tips: 4 9 5 2 Suggested Bet: GOGGINS (4) each way. Market Market
