Matt Young’s Tuesday Gloucester Park Preview Posted on October 22, 2024October 22, 2024 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 HEARTOFAHLIA (2) has improved recently and is searching for her second win, she has run strongly in her last 4 runs and each time the performances have improved. She has improved her gate speed as well and looks hard to beat here. MISS UNEEK (1) trialled up well and has shown promise in the past, has options from the draw. RIPPER VIEW (6) battled on well after doing the work last time out, she could go around at a silly price. PRINCESS MICKAYLA (10) and STELLAR EDITION (11) are both racing well and have good draws to see them prominent. Tips: 2 1 6 11 Suggested Bet: RIPPER VIEW (6) each way. Race 2 SOUNDS TREACHEROUS (1) had a treacherous run last time out, today the draw suggests she should be able to lead, and she fought on well after doing a heap of work last time out. SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (5) came back well with a working third at Bunbury, he has early dash and if he could lead, he would go close. CARMELA DOMENICA (10) was much better in her run last start and has the draw for a similar run punching the rail. NO NONEY (6) drops in grade and can improve in this. EBEE AVIATOR (3) is capable and BELLE LIVIA STAR (12) may need this but should be considered for the novelties with a stable who produce nice performers. Tips: 1 10 5 6 Suggested Bet: SOUNDS TREACHEROUS (1) to win. Race 3 Wide open race here. JACKIE DANIELS (5) returned well and will be fitter for that run, she also looks set to get a decent run and looks a strong chance. JOLTED CHARM (3) is racing soundly, she has good early speed and think they will be aggressive here. UNLUCKY (7) has been racing in stronger fields but the draw and depth of this race makes things more challenging for her. WORLD SECRET (9) drops in grade but has a bad draw and form has been up and down as of late, her best is good enough. SUNDANCER RAINBOW (1) drawn to be prominent. ALFA PRINCESS (2) has speed and may be driven for the top. Tips: 5 3 7 9 Suggested Bet: JACKIE DANIELS (5) each way. Race 4 ROCKANDROLLARTIST (4) flew out and led last run but couldn’t hold them off, that was over the longer trip where he has always been suspect. He is back in trip and another run fitter, chips in to lead and win and hope Aiden De Campo can get the job done for us. MY ULTIMATE CHEVRON (3) has been racing soundly, this is a lot easier, and no doubt will coming out humming to try and hold up, that’s the ball game I feel. THOMSON BAY (6) is a consistent type and can win with the right run but is always a novelty hope. RUPERT OF LINCOLN (5) returns and is capable of a novelty play. INFINITE SIGN (7) is capable, but the speed underneath makes his task a lot harder. Tips: 4 3 6 5 Suggested Bet: ROCKANDROLLARTIST (4) to win. Race 5 Open race. VALHALLA MISS (3) is on the quick backup and was a winner on Sunday at Collie, she has come back well and looks hard to beat in this. ZUEDE (1) may try and be used from the inside draw, he was a winner on Saturday at Northam but could be met with some pressure, has options. SHEHADI (10) couldn’t have asked for a better draw; she is capable and winning chance if the gaps appear. STRIKE MASTER (2) racing well but isn’t the quickest beginner, on the plus side, from the draw he won’t be far away. 6,7,8 & 9 are all racing well enough but could be longer in the market because of their respective draws. Tips: 3 1 10 2 Suggested Bet: SHEHADI (10) each way. Race 6 GOV STARZZZ (1) has come back well and is a horse who is very versatile. He has won 50% of his races leading and likes to be in the first few where has won the rest, expecting him to run a bold race here as he has those options. LAMANDIER (3) could be aggressive and a likely improver, he can win from either leading or breezing, major player. IM SPIDERMAN (2) has come back well and with no back line he can drop to the rail and be dangerous late. RODASI (9) is in top form; he will have to be good from such a disadvantaged draw. APOLOGIZE (7) racing well since returning but looks a place hope best here. Tips: 1 3 2 9 Suggested Bet: GOV STARZZZ (1) each way. Race 7 FRANKIE J HOLDEN (4) looks well placed, the big fellow has been racing well and he is likely to be driven forward and aggressively, very hard to beat in this. TUMBLIN DICE (5) was solid in his return run, he has got good early speed but unsure he can get around the top selection early, the field is small so he can still earn if not leading. STELLA MAJOR (1) draws well and is racing soundly, place chance with the distance a slight concern. SONIC CHIP (2) going well and has options. Tips: 4 5 1 2 Suggested Bet: FRANKIE J HOLDEN (4) to win. Race 8 ROBBIE EASTON (8) looks well placed to be a big improver here, he has been sound in recent form and the distance suits for him to overcome the draw and expect him to go well. LUKE ATTACK (3) is a decent chance to improve, his form has been just okay recently, but this grade suits him. ADMIRAL DARCY (1) goes up in grade and distance but has the draw, he is a novelty chance. CLASSNSMART (5) is a place hope, could be driven positively in this. OUR MAJOR JACK (6) and ONE FOR DAVE ANDME (9) will be running home. Tips: 8 3 1 9 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE EASTON (8) to win. Race 9 WHEN IN VEGAS (6) has come back well and has always shown promise, he can do work in his races and stable driver Deni Roberts taking the steer on him is as good a lead in as you will get. MAD MONDAY (5) has the speed to be driven to the lead and expect him to run a big race. EL JAYDO (2) gets the good draw and is likely an improver. LADIESHAVTIME (3) has ability but also has some tricks, happy to watch her in the early part of this prep. Tips: 6 5 2 3 Suggested Bet: WHEN IN VEGAS (6) to win Market Market
