Matt Young’s Tuesday Gloucester Park Preview Posted on December 15, 2025December 15, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 OH MIKI (11) was a good effort after running into bother last time out in a stronger race, made up lost ground and along with his dominant win at Bunbury the start before the penny looks to be dropping and he looks set to run a big race here. ELLEOFAREACTOR (2) got away with a lead time last time out and kicked on strongly, has the speed to lead early and then has options but is racing well. THE SWINDLER (1) hit the line nicely last time out but lacks early speed which puts her in an awkward position. BROOKVALEGIRL (5) will run the gate and look for the top, she is racing well and should be in the money again. TELL ITIN HEAVEN (4) a novelty chance. Tips: 11 5 2 1 Suggested Bet: OH MIKI (11) to win. Race 2 HUNGER STRIKE (7) has the draw advantage over her main rivals and was massive in defeat two starts ago, last start wasn’t as potent but if she meets somewhere in the middle she could work to the top and get the victory here. OFFICAL ROCK (8) is airborne, just keeps on winning and must be respected again. WAVE REBELLION (9) wasn’t a bad effort on Saturday night, and her best is right up to these, but the draw makes it even more challenging for her racing style. MISS VINCENZA (5) will head forward and have options, looks to finish in the money. ULTIMATE EVENT (6) capable of better. Tips: 7 8 9 5 Suggested Bet: HUNGER STRIKE (7) to win. Race 3 THE BETTOR SIDE (5) was a good effort last time out and has the advantage over some of his main rivals, expect him to be driven forward and he will be hard to beat. CAPTAINS CREEK (9) has turned a corner and just keeps on winning, but the wide draw makes it challenging. SEBASITAN JAMES (6) is a nice type who is debuting in the in-form stables of Dylan Egerton-Green, keep safe. INTO THE FUTURE (7) and BY ROYAL COMMAND (8) both capable but the draws should see them back and running on, novelty chances with CRUNCH THE NUMBERS (2) who draws in close. Tips: 5 6 9 8 Suggested Bet: THE BETTOR SIDE (5) to win. Race 4 MIKI WINDERMERE (7) is a tough staying type and was a brave effort last time out, expecting him to push forward and be very hard to hold out in this. HEEZ GOOD AS GOLD (5) has good early speed and not a super quick line underneath, could find his way to the top and be the one to run down. MADDY LOU (11) is racing well and showing good versatility, likely to be in the money again. SHES A TINY DANCER (8) should be kept safe but is first up from a tough draw and VINITA ROSE (9) is racing well but has drawn the river. Novelty chances to JILLIBY JAKE (4), SPUDMEISTER (6) and MISTER PICCOLO (12). Tips: 7 5 11 8 Suggested Bet: MIKI WINDERMERE (7) to win. Race 5 FRANCO ENCORE (8) is first up but is also a flying machine out of the gate, could charge across and lead here and if he is ready to go, he will go very close. GREATGREAT BOULDER (9) has the ability but as we know, he has a few tricks, will be getting home well again. SUGAR DELIGHT (10) will be hoping for an early war, but she is versatile and must be kept safe. ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (1) has options from the draw, could be an improver being close to the speed. GAITCRASHER (7) and ELWADDELL (4) can be included in your novelties. Tips: 8 9 10 1 Suggested Bet: FRANCO ENCORE (8) to win. Race 6 Open race. MY MACHANE (8) can improve again off a decent debut and solid trial prior and overcome the draw here, looks to have some decent depth and should be hard to hold out. STRONG THE STRIKER (11) is racing well enough, but the back row draw brings luck into the equation and that also fits the narrative for SOME LINE (10). SOUTHERNER (6) has shown promise and returns from a middle of the row draw. CHRYSOSTOM (3) has also shown promise but has been scratched from the last two acceptances to a race so may need the run. LORD NELSON (5) trialled soundly. Tips: 8 11 10 3 Suggested Bet: MY MACHANE (8) to win. Race 7 ELIZABETH AITCH (5) is knocking on the door and strikes a suitable grade, her last few have been good and this could be hers for the taking. NUCLEAR CRUISER (12) has upside after a decent return, will be running on well. STARANNA (2) wasn’t a bad effort on return and has a nice draw. Novelty chances to BOUNCE BACK BUDDY (4), DANGER (8) and CAPPY THE FIREY (10). Tips: 5 12 2 10 Suggested Bet: ELIZABETH AITCH (5) to win. Race 8 QUIGGLEY (5) is racing in top form and looks hard to beat again, he has been stepping soundly and can be driven like the best horse and there is a chance he could end up in front here after a lap. MAJESTIC GA GA (6) has the top end speed to overcome the handicap, just needs to step safely. PATCHED (7) was disappointing on face value last time out but they don’t go much quicker in lead times for the trotters, flies away and can make up his handicap and be in the money here. LUVAFLAIR (8) capitalized last time out and was well driven, she will be running on. ALDEBARAN SUNDOWN (1) caught the eye last run, place chance but is on the improve. Tips: 5 6 7 8 Suggested Bet: QUIGGLEY (5) to win. Market Market
