Race 1

LADY CAMEL (9) is a nice filly who can watch what is unfolding underneath in the early stages, the distance will always make it difficult from the draw, but she is a decent price to suggest each way chance as I think she is up to them on ability. ICY COLD (4) goes up in grade, has plenty of early speed and could lead and give them something to catch. LENORA JANE (8) the stablemate is the best horse in the race, but she is normally driven for high speed, so she is short enough considering that’s her usual pattern. KURIOUS BOY (7) drops in grade and can be driven assertively here and is a winning chance. OURFIRSTIMPRESSION (1) was better last time out and must be included in the novelties.

Suggested Bet: LADY CAMEL (9) each way.

Race 2

ACUSHLA MACHREE (9) has the hype and the form to boot for a successful debut in the West, she has an abundance of early speed and with a few scratchings and an improved draw they may push the button, she looks hard to beat. ZYNYA (2) continues to improve and is ready to win one, a must for the novelties. ALFA PRINCESS (1) has drawn beautifully and normally begins well; she has been consistent from trickier draws. CHAMBRAY (10) will follow the speed nicely and be a novelty contender.

Tips: 9 2 1 10

Suggested Bet: ACUSHLA MACHREE (9) to win.

Race 3

SUGAR APPLE (6) gets a front row draw and has plenty of speed, will be heading forward early and have liked his recent runs and think he will be hard to beat. MAJOR OVERS (2) has a better draw to race forward and we know he will be there at the business end. MAJOR JAY (3) has a nice draw and maps well. SONIC CHIP (1) can be placed, this is harder and expecting them to drive him a bit more conservatively. HENGHENG (7) can run a better race.

Tips: 6 2 3 1

Suggested Bet: SUGAR APPLE (6) to win.

Race 4

SHOWPONY (1) gets the draw to show his best, he has been in the wilderness for a while but expecting a sharp improvement for this race. BLAZE ON (12) is a nice type on return and can watch things unfold early, he is a better horse on speed but think he will acquit himself well on return. ELWADDELL (5) has been racing consistently and although it looks slightly harder to win, he is a horse who should be included in the novelties. ALTA RHETT (11) can punch through and be handy to them and isn’t the worst chance. WALL STREET GIRL (10) gets another poor draw for her early speed. IFEEL SIKDARL (2) returns and could be close enough to them. Early speed to create interest with YANKEE LINCOLN (3) and BRAMANTE STEPS (4).

Tips: 1 12 11 6

Suggested Bet: SHOWPONY (1) to win.

Race 5

TUMBLIN DICE (10) just needs some even luck to be a major player here, he has come back well and is ready to break through. PRIDDAH (1) has elevated in recent runs and is a horse with some decent early speed, can see him leading and being cheeky. CAMS BOULDER (3) is racing well but he can have some tricks, if he can get some even luck himself, he will run strongly. UNDER THE ALTA (5) is a strong chance if he could cross, he has improved recently. ALFA PRINCE (6) had no excuses from Saturday’s performance, this is harder with draw and class.

Tips: 10 3 1 5

Suggested Bet: TUMBLIN DICE (10) each way.

Race 6

GOTA GOOD WARHOL (1) has been racing consistently without breaking through, he has good early speed and gets a great opportunity here from the draw to control and break through. STELLA MAJOR (10) is racing strongly and has drawn perfectly for her, strong place chance. PECUNIOUS (9) drops in grade but from a tough draw, she will likely be there when the whips are cracking. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (2) suited by the drop in grade, throw into quaddie contention. YOU FLY WITH ME (5) was sound in his debut for the new stable.

Suggested Bet: GOTA GOOD WARHOL (1) to win.

Race 7 

Could be a bit going on in the early stages and think this will play into the hands of the ultra-consistent NICKYS SON (6). The versatile square gaiter can be driven a multitude of ways and can get the job here. ELEGANT PEAK (3) and UPTOWN LAD (4) are both coming in fresh, and both are strong chances, just depends who can get the bounce on who and if they can find the leading position. THAT’S NOT MY GAIT (7) has galloped her last three starts, not exactly ideal form lines but her run two starts ago was big, if she does things right, they will know she’s in the race. PATCHED (8) will have to overcome the 60m which looks difficult unless the speed is right on.

Suggested Bet: NICKYS SON (6) to win.

Race 8

MY SILVER SPOON (5) will be charging across and leading this event and most likely winning, he has good ability, and this looks a perfect race. TORREVEAN PINKY (1) was solid in the return run, ideally drawn and fitter, strong place chance. PRIME MOVER (4) returns and will find this suitable, place chance along with VISITING HOURS (6) who could be the value and be getting home well and HAVEYOUMETTED (7) creates interest, but it is an unfavourable draw.

Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN PINKY (1) to place.
