Race 1

ELPLAYER (6) won well last time out, and this is a suitable grade and looks a strong chance as he appears to have versatility, looks hard to hold out. ELQUESTRO (9) is suited dropping back in grade and will be running on from the back of the field. OUR MATE JEFF (2) creates interest, and market should be watched but Robbie Williams does a fantastic job with his small team. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT (4) continues to improve and won’t be too far away with ALLWOOD DEAL MAKER (3) has shown promise but disappointed on Tuesday.

Suggested Bet: ELPLAYER (6) to win.

Race 2

DOUGS LEGACY (1) has a few ways to win this race, will be coming out and looking for the top but even if he doesn’t lead, he can win off the basis of the last run. DAMAGE DONE (3) is the concerning horse for him as he has good early speed and could cross and has options. THE DARK NIGHT (8) is racing consistently and has the high speed to bring him into the race. APOLOGIZE (9) is improving and will be running on. MACHANE SAID (5) going well but faces a tricky draw, doesn’t normally get used so therefore it is an awkward alley. KARAOKE STAR (7) needs to settle close enough to feature and VELVET SHADOW (2) is a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: DOUGS LEGACY (1) to win.

Race 3

BETTOR BE BUCKS (1) is racing well and ideally drawn, has improved in gate speed and looks hard to beat from the draw. ALLWOODS CHEVRON (7) is perfectly drawn to follow the speed and runs well on the peg line. GOODONYA MATE (8) is ready to win but needs his fair share of luck, likely dive to the pegs and will be running on well. SAVE THIS DANCE (9) is going nicely and can do some work in this, novelty chance. BIG BOZZ (10) might not be suited tempo wise.

Suggested Bet: BETTOR BE BUCKS (1) to win.

Race 4

OUR TWINKLE (9) debuts in the west and looks the winner on exposed form, very well placed for his WA debut. MARTYR (1) just needs to settle to run a better race, has good speed and could be an improver here. MIGHTY MAGICIAN (5) could be a further improver, comes in fresh and can do some work. TRAVELBAN (7) and INTO THE FUTURE (8) both place chances from their draws. MIKI WINDERMERE (4) is first up and can do some work with BEYOND BLING (6) will be running on well.

Suggested Bet: MIGHTY MAGICIAN (5) to place.

Race 5

TRITTRITTBANGBANG (1) has a nice draw and is ready to run a good race, had no luck last time out and hit the line well, good early speed and distance suits, go well. AMERICAN MONARCH (7) drawn beautifully and looks a solid chance and will be dangerous late. KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (8) is improving and can dive to the pegs and be a solid place chance. SYNCHRONIZER (2) is around the mark and drawn to be close. SHECANPLAY (5) has speed but looks tricky from the draw.

Suggested Bet: TRITTRITTBANGBANG/AMERICAN MONARCH to Quinella.

Race 6

VINTAGE BLU (3) has the draw to be driven in a dominant way, suitable grade and looks very hard to beat in this, has been riddled with poor maps in recent runs and this just ticks a lot of boxes. KINSAABI (5) likely improver won a race three starts ago and is versatile. BREWERY LANE (4) will settle in the first few and has come back well. STELLA MAJOR (7) needs some luck but will be thundering home, THE FIRST CUT (2) could improve as she comes in fresh.

Tips: 3 5 7 4

Suggested Bet: VINTAGE BLU (3) to win.

Race 7

SPINNER OF YARNS (2) gets a wonderful opportunity, has the draw and drops in grade and looks very hard to beat in this, could be short which isn’t good for a horse who doesn’t win often but does look a good chance for him. SPORTS CENTRAL (5) is on the improve and has strings to his bow in this grade. MUMMAS LITTLE STAR (8) has come back well and prefer her on speed but will be in the money from the draw. BATAVIA STREAMLINE (4) can improve but overall has been racing below his best.

Tips: 2 5 8 4

Suggested Bet: SPINNER OF YARNS (2) to win.

Race 8

PAPPINBARRA LADY (8) is knocking on the door and looks very hard to hold out in this, deserves a win and has a good turn of foot, back row draw will suit. LYCA FANTASY (3) will be looking to push forward to the top and will roll along, lacks a bit of high speed but will play a part in this. THUNDER WARRIOR (1) drawn to be prominent but has just dropped off on recent form, can improve without shocking. CAPPY THE FIREY (2) is a novelty chance with ALTA GABBANA (4) and ELBRUJA (9) will be running on.

Tips: 8 3 1 9

Suggested Bet: PAPPINBARRA LADY (8) to win.
