Matt Young’s Saturday Bunbury Preview Posted on June 20, 2025June 20, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 Good competitive race, MAJOR DISCO (6) is very capable but is lacking that killer blow late, wouldn’t want to be diving in too short on him with that. HIGHVIEW HEIDI (7) returned nicely and will have to overcome the wide draw, but she is talented and versatile. WAVE REBELLION (9) was ultra impressive in her win at Wagin this will be a good test for her, should run on well. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (3) has elevated in recent runs and has decent speed, could give a sight if she could find the top. VILLAGE DEE JAY (2) can improve, looks the likely leader early and has options. DAMAGE DONE (5) is improving and this will be a good test for him also, could be driven positively. SHOOBEES DOUBLE (8) follows out a steady beginner, place chances appear best in this. Tips: 7 6 9 3 Suggested Bet: WAVE REBELLION (9) each way. Race 2 ALTA KING (5) was solid in his last run and did the work in the breeze, can be driven positively in this and has shown his worth last preparation, should go well here. JILLIBY MOJITO (6) is versatile and is better suited to this grade. MY ULTIMATE KEVVIE (7) creates interest but has got a wide draw to overcome. AIR MARSHAL (4) has mixed form since resuming and rises in grade after a recent win. EILEENMAY (10) expecting her to run home well. GALEOCERDO CUVIER (11) has been sound but the draw hurts. Tips: 5 6 7 10 Suggested Bet: ALTA KING (5) to win. Race 3 SWAGGER MAN (3) has a good draw to work with, his form has been solid, and I think he can find his way to the top, looks hard to beat in this. RELLIM (9) hasn’t had much luck in recent runs, prefer him to be driven in a sit sprint capacity and from the draw he will get that and be getting home strongly. CRY HAVOC (1) is nicely drawn and shouldn’t be too far away, can run into the money, stablemate THE BEACH MASTER (4) was solid on return, looks an improver again with a run under the belt. FRANKIE MAJOR (10) and LINEBACKER (11) are both novelty chances if the tempo is on. Tips: 3 9 1 11 Suggested Bet: SWAGGER MAN (3) to win. Race 4 SEAGRASS (5) has come back in recent weeks with an unlucky run at Gloucester Park and then followed it up with a nice run at Narrogin, has the draw advantage over some of the main rivals and thought she could lead this and run a bold race, go well. DAME VALOUR (7) is a talented type who returned a winner, may have to do the work again. REBLINE (6) returns and has plenty of ability, likely to be driven for one run. BROOKVALEGIRL (3) will lead early and has options, can run into the placings. SUNDANCER RAINBOW (2) has been racing well but this is tougher. SHES A TINY DANCER (9) on the quick backup, will be running on. Tips: 5 7 6 3 Suggested Bet: SEAGRASS (5) each way. Race 5 HEARTOFAHLIA (2) is ideally drawn and placed by connections here, she was a winner first up on a Friday night meeting and then was luckless, if she can hold the runners to her outside, I will expect her to lead and win. TOMMY PRICE (7) has plenty of early speed and could cross them, has options from there. DOUSEEME (3) has come back well and can run a bold race here, but the draw could work out to be a bit awkward. SPIRITOFANANGEL (5) is a solid place chance, she is tough and can sustain a run. CRETACEOUS (8) can be included into the novelties. Tips: 2 7 3 5 Suggested Bet: TOMMY PRICE (7) each way. Race 6 Open race. WRITE RITE RIGHT (6) has put together a couple of nice runs and prior to that trialled well against Chase Me, looks a solid chance each way in an open race. CAMEL PLUS (3) was decent on return, first real showing of ability, looks like he can win a few races as a 3yo. CHARLI BROWN (5) is mixing his form but is capable. LUZIA (8) will be dangerous if the gaps come at the right time. HEADLINE ADDA (9) has been solid in recent runs and looks a chance following through from the back line. DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (11) is capable but draw and distance is concerning and NIFE TOA GUNFIGHT (12) is improving but another one where the draw is a great leveller. Tips: 6 3 8 9 Suggested Bet: WRITE RITE RIGHT (8) to win. Race 7 MAJESTIC GA GA (4) looks to be doing everything right and should charge to the top, she is racing in rare air and has handled this field on a few occasions now, looks hard to catch. MRIYA DREAM (2) looks to use his early speed and has options, was fantastic winning in weaker grade last start. PATCHED (7) has been racing well and has showed toughness this campaign as opposed to his high speed from the past. LINE THE STARZZZ (3) has improved in recent runs, just needs a safe getaway. LUVAFLAIR (5) and CHUMANI (6) both capable but haven’t been at their best in recent runs. Tips: 4 7 3 2 Suggested Bet: MAJESTIC GA GA (4) to win. Market Market
