Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on November 24, 2025November 24, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (11) goes back 10m after a recent victory in this grade and the task over 40m is never a simple one at the short course, but she did win with a touch of arrogance and if anything, should be further improved off that run, should go close. ARISTOTLE (8) finally broke through and is coming out of racing stronger on Friday night, should be in the mix. TILTHESUNSETS (3) could give them something to catch if he could roll forward and get the top and same applies for LAVRADORE (4). ELISH STAR (5) and KYVALLEY CLICHY (7) are small players but needs things to go their way. Tips: 11 8 3 4 Suggested Bet: MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (11) to win. Race 2 SHES A LUCKY PENNY (2) was nearly career best when finishing fifth last time out, did things wrong, which is quite rare for her and made up a heap of ground and hit the line well, she should lead and over the mile I just don’t see her getting beaten today, very keen. WANDERING GIRL (10) was the beneficiary of a ridiculous tempo set last week but she took the baton and bolted away with it and was very impressive, her last two runs have been good, and she looks the main danger. THEJEWELINHEREYE (1) has the lovely draw and looks likely to stick on and can be placed. LOCAL RESIDENT (9) is racing in good form and shouldn’t be positioned too far away, will get home well. HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (5) is consistent and CALL TO ARMS (8) could be a novelty player at big odds given the soft draw. Tips: 2 10 9 1 Suggested Bet: SHES A LUCKY PENNY (2) to win. Race 3 TRITTRITTBANGBANG (5) has the speed to lead here, and the mile really suits his style, should be able roll along as he likes in front and looks hard to run down. ISLAND TEE REX (8) trialled up well and his best is most certainly good enough but follows out a slow beginner so will require some luck and hampers his winning chances. BLIND EDITION (2) made up a lot of ground last time and has the speed to be close to them and can earn again. DEE JAYS BIG BOY (6) can do work in his races and stick on, likely pushes forward at the start. JAMIE KIM (9) better suited on the peg line but from the draw should settle close enough to them and YOU FLY WITH ME (10) will be running on, always a novelty chance. Tips: 5 8 2 6 Suggested Bet: TRITTRITTBANGBANG (5) to win. Race 4 STIRUP IRON JACK (9) did a power of work last time out and battled on well considering, expecting him to punch through from the second line and be close enough to them and think he will run well. BEALAWYER (10) is always a chance, he mixes his form and expecting him to be driven more aggressively once they find their positions to get on speed. GALVINSTON JOHN (5) will be charging out and will be hard to run down if he found the top. HEAVENLY BLISS (6) won’t lead for my thought on the map and things become infinitely harder for her if she must be driven sit kick. STRAYLYA (7) racing well enough but plenty of speed underneath and the draw hurts. Tips: 9 5 10 6 Suggested Bet: STIRUP IRON JACK (9) to win Race 5 OUR RICH CARGO (6) is the beneficiary of the scratching’s and likely to head forward and look for the top, she has been racing in top form and think she will run a big race here. YAWOMA (10) was a good winner last start defeating Mad Monday who carried the form on to win on Friday at GP. Concerns sit with a back row draw for YAWOMA (10) but form is good and looks to have the toughness required to run a big race. OFFICIAL ROCK (1) is beautifully drawn and must be respected with the sprint lane accessible. BOUJEE BOY (9) just needs the splits at the right time but is right up to these and a good test for BY ROYAL COMMAND (11) who has been flying on the outer country circuit and will be running on well. Tips: 6 10 1 9 Suggested Bet: OUR RICH CARGO (6) to win. Race 6 SKYLOU (9) returns and is a quality pacer, he will be ready to rumble but could be short enough given the depth of the field and the handicap he faces, go close either way. ROCK ME OVER (5) has been racing in good form and is incredibly consistent, distance suits, fitness suits, expecting him to run a big race. BEAT THE BANK (3) is a consistent type but his slow start is costly in these races. BLAZE AWAY (6) needs to be on speed, gets harder when he chases. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (8) is consistent and versatile and expect him to finish in the money. CAMS BOULDER (7) capable and stepped soundly in a recent standing start trial. Tips: 5 9 8 3 Suggested Bet: ROCK ME OVER (5) each way. Race 7 LADY VIOLETTA (1) is knocking on the door and gets a good opportunity here, looks the likely leader and can fend them off today. ALWAYSBFRANK (6) was able to do it the hard way and win two starts ago and expect him to run a bold race again but will need to be just as good. BALINGUP BOY (9) is knocking on the door and expecting him to be getting home powerfully. ALTA KING (10) is consistent and a novelty chance. ARUM (2) rises in grade and looks more of a place hope today. EN PARIANT SUR (4) is first up but can finish in the money. MACHANE SAID (5) and ZLATO (12) both capable but need a fair share of luck from the draws. Tips: 1 9 6 10 Suggested Bet: BALINGUP BOY (9) each way. Race 8 Open race. WALL STREET GIRL (11) looks better suited in this grade and can watch things unfold and be put into it at any stage. OUR LILILOU (1) has the draw and speed to lead, prefer her over shorter but she was good last time out her stablemate ICY COLD (3) also has good speed but she isn’t as talented at the middle distance so I think the draw might not work out for her today. MASTER REMI (8) caught the eye last time out and has the lovely draw to be somewhat dangerous late at odds. FEELING ACES (10) was awfully unlucky in the Collie Cup and will be running home well today. Things look a lot tougher for STATE MY CASE (2) and HUNT THE MAGIC (7) is capable but is also first up. Tips: 11 1 10 8 Suggested Bet: WALL STREET GIRL (11) to win. Market Market
