LA Showdown Posted on October 19, 2017 | Posted by David Shortte Day two of the NBA season proved to be a high scoring day and the TABtouch special matches saw San Antonio prevail 107-99 over Minnesota while Portland demolished Phoenix winning 124-76. Once again those chasing the TABtouch special mark of 90 points for safety were well rewarded in all bar the case of Phoenix. Of all the teams playing on day 2 of NBA action the Phoenix Suns were in fact the only team out of the 22 who played that did not score 90 points or more. A reminder that on selected NBA matches each day for the start of the NBA season place a Head to Head bet as a TABtouch customer on-line and if your team score 90 points or more but lose it’s money back up to $50. The selected match for Day 3 is the cross town showdown between the LA Lakers and the LA Clippers. For many years the Lakers have been far superior to the Clippers but in recent times that has changed and the Clippers head into this contest as the $1.49 favourites with the Lakers rated a $2.65 chance. The match is due to tip off at 10.40 am WA time on Friday morning so don’t miss out.
