Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on January 30, 2024January 31, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 4 Confetti Emoji Gets in really well here. Box no real issue and can land handy and this lot will struggle to stop her. Good win two back then another top effort last week. This easier again. Looks the one. Race 4 No. 7 Vander Harley Will stay out of the early battle and if she can work into a forward slot from that then she will be working home hard. Can get past most of these with even luck and is a top two hope at odds. Race 5 No. 7 Shy Emoji and No. 2 Stranger Within The 7 is starting to put good runs together now. Has superior middle and last sections and the lack of early speed the only drawback. Can offset that however. She will be chasing the 2 and he’s going well. Showing his dash and getting the arm and that should happen here. Becomes hard to catch then. Race 6 No. 1 All About Quartz and No. 2 Kenny Keeping The 1 looks boxed to pounce on to the arm here and go all the way. Been racing much better opposition than what she meets here and will take no end of stopping now. The 2 gets a nice map and he continues to run into the races well over this trip when he draws in. Excels off the inside boxes and a place heavy go for him. Race 8 No. 2 Morningstar Fun and No. 8 Dr Jimmy These all get their chance to win a very low race. The 2 could surprise here and spear on to the arm early. She goes better than her form shows and will give a sight if she leads. The 8 is the best dog in the race and he really just has to get across cleanly. Should he do that and find the top, find your ticket and collect. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 7 Starburst Candy Ran out of her skin behind a gun last start. Beaten a long way for 2nd but she stuck on well. A repeat effort will see her in the finish here. Race 5 No. 7 Royal Gypsy Class runner here and she only has to present her usual early speed that sees her lead then it’s good luck catching her. Really all you are betting on, this run to the first turn. She looks the one though. Race 6 No. 7 Earletta Bale Another who gets in well here. Can lead or come from back and the small field suits down to the ground here. Makes fast mid race runs and can keep that through the line. Will take some beating in this. Race 7 No. 7 Aston Michigan He might get back a bit but this could get messy and the smaller field will play into his hands. Stokes up through the back and if he’s close he will threaten late. Top two prospect at odds. Race 8 No. 7 Canya All Class Had put in some monster runs so far and arguably should have won last time. Lacks early pace and green in a field but any luck will see him get into the finish here with only the 4 and 8 showing as much ability. They will fight this out. Race 10 No. 4 Home Brew Lacks Dash over this short trip but he can generate a good middle section that powers on to a strong run home courtesy of his recent staying runs at Sale etc. Another who will relish the small field and just needs to be close to figure. Hard to hold out late. Race 11 No. 2 Kadence Bale Looks hers to lose. She’s just better than these and the step up in trip spells nothing but trouble for her opposition. Only bad luck stops her here. Best bet. Market Market
