Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 20, 2024June 20, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 1 No. 8 Dozen Staples Playing for first turn luck but that’s what she does and that’s what this track gives over this trip. Will go across heels and wait for the first turn gap to present and she’s strong home. Small EW spec only. Race 3 No. 1 Luna Sunrise and No. 8 Victim Of Desire The 1 will surprise here off a good step. Racing well without luck and the draw gives her a real show now. The 8 will again look for her runs at the first turn and as usual she will run into it late at odds. Both know this place backwards and will be in the finish with the right runs. Race 4 No. 7 Twisted Mansion and No. 7 You’re Busted The 7 faces some easier company here and is versatile with being able to come on from anywhere. Moderate stepper but recovers quickly and will charge into this. As will the 7 who has a bag of tricks but he has been here which is a huge plus and placed a few times. If he’s close he will hit the line late as well. Race 5 No. 7 Canya Bon Bon and No. 2 Page One News The 7 is going well and while she lacks dash early after a good step, she gets back into her work strongly and will descend here with any luck at the top. The 2 will be ready to breakthrough here as well after a few solid efforts in the placings. Boxes to lead or sit close, she will stick on well and be hard to stop in this. Race 7 No. 5 Pepper Grinder Good stayers race with a small field. Huge run from the back last week when taken very wide at the first turn and got home pretty much as well as the fav in this. Will settle closer now and she can stay. Hits top 2 at the very least. Big show though and can win. Race 8 No. 2 Lady Sherwood Inside draw will help here after a luckless run from the outside last week. Runs good time and beginning well and should land close here to bring her strong last section into play and go close. Hard to beat this time. Race 9 No. 3 Sammy Can Browse Has come back surprisingly well and could be a sneaky chance here. Gets the right run behind the inside speed here and she is finishing off her races strongly in good company. Looks a great EW show in this. Race 10 No. 2 Escape Way If he steps here, his superior muster should be able to have him holding the arm then it would take some effort to run this bloke down. Runs fast time in front and gets his best chance to find that in this even affair. The one to beat. Race 12 No. 1 Lady Dior Nice run from the back last week when she made late closing ground to place. That’s her though so it wasn’t anything new. Boxed to again stoke into this up the back and with a few suspect 500 dogs, she might get over all of them late. Top two show. SANDOWN PARK Race 3 No. 6 Bruce Intention Race 4 No. 7 Pigwidgeon Race 5 No. 3 Fabs Udon Race 7 No. 1 Irma Pince Race 8 No. 1 Kingsley Bale Race 9 No. 1 Riptide Ruslie and No. 5 Yachi Bale Race 10 No. 6 So Certain and No. 3 Crackerjack Aret Race 11 No. 6 Idyllic Luther ALBION PARK Race 3 No. 1 Succeed (place heavy) Race 4 No. 4 Black Tsunami (place heavy) Race 6 No. 2 Kenzie Baskin (EW) and No. 4 Scarlatti Race 7 No. 3 Exploded and No. 3 Check The Radar Race 8 No. 3 Lena Jinx Race 9 No. 5 Tarawi Moo and No. 3 Binny Doo Market Market
