Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 24, 2024June 24, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch NORTHAM Race 3 No. 7 Augusta Star and No. 8 Ohana Paige The 7 was good first up here and can show improvement again 2nd time around. Early speed and is a threat. The 8 has ability although we have yet to see the very best of her. Resuming so could surprise in this. Race 4 No. 6 Fab’s Max Potato and No. 1 Polygon Monelli Giving the 6 another go in this company. Took too long to wind up in tougher class last week but the small field and easier affair gives him his chance. The 1 excels here and is boxed to go close. Steps ok and musters up and she sticks on very strongly. Should be hitting top two here without issue. Both can go very well. Race 5 No. 2 Horoscope and No. 1 Sarabi Sinclair The 2 is going well but keeps finding one that is leading her first turn. Boxed to hold the arm here and that will see her hard to catch this time. The 1 finally draws in and he’s a major threat here. Will get a great run and he hits the line well when momentum is up which it should be. Don’t dismiss him. He can win. Race 9 No. 6 Wise Koonac She only has one hope and that’s to lead. Has a better chance of doing that here boxed wide and will prove hard to catch if left alone into the back. Betting on the start and she is going better than it looks. Race 10 No. 3 Marlin Monelli and No. 2 High Level The 3 has a stack of talent but he’s awkward and needs a little first turn luck in his races. He has a good draw however and if he lands close he will very hard to stop. The 2 will also get a nice run and she has been racing harder opposition than this. Just needs to track up the red and she’s a big show on the way home. Race 11 No. 2 Tear Tremor and No. 8 Aussie Primrose The 2 was excellent here last week in her first WA start. Probably should have won and will take a heap of improvement from that run. Drawn well and goes close here. The 8 will spear out as usual and while she can’t match the 2 on the clock, she can lead with a little luck and is sometimes hard to catch. Could surprise if she got away. Race 12 No. 3 Beautiful Babe There are always gaps between her starts but she’s very quick and usually a good box dog who will be awfully hard to stop in this first up. Will enjoy this circuit and just looking for the arm and she’s the one to beat. Take on trust that she’s seen the place privately and she’s the one. Market Market
