Harry Buchanan’s Monday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on February 19, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 8 Jumping Jill and No. 5 Riverside Lenny The 8 is slowly working back to form after serious setbacks. Went well off this draw last week and pays to follow. The 5 is resuming but he has talent and a good turn of foot when he’s on. If he rushes through early then he’s a force. Race 5 No. 2 Shian Pedro The enigma that is Pedro. Gets his draw and the same story as usual to apply. If he sees the arm up the back, it’s over. Start is the only thing that decides this race. Has literal panels on this field. Race 6 No. 1 Stranger Within Boxes to go fast here and find the top and that’s when his best arrives. Much better dog in front and finally draws a box to allow that. Very hard to stop here now. Race 7 No. 5 Taco Time Bullet who is coming out of top grade races and the Dash final. Clearly the best dog in this and only has to offset the box with her early speed and she will smack these. Looks the one here. Race 8 No. 8 Classic Style and No. 2 Rock Solid Kid The 8 is under rated and if she can find her way across cleanly she can surprise these. Goes a lot better than her form suggests and is a threat. The 2 was desperately unlucky last week. About to take over and win when the kennel mate and leader bought him undone. Boxed to atone. Race 11 No. 3 Apollo Fun and No. 6 Payakaroon The 3 is a cheeky hope here. Can step and show speed and if he finds the arm before the first turn he wins. Unless of course the 6 gets there. Looked to have his chance last week and he’s the best dog in this. He can think a little so take on trust. Market Market
