Harry Buchanans Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 12, 2024April 12, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 7 Canya Gulfstream The best exposed form of this lot and resuming from a let up. Anything close to the Cannington runs that transfers to this will see him go close. Race 2 No. 4 Sailor Jim and No. 6 Trendy Miss A couple at odds here who could surprise. The 4 will push through early and if he gets a spot up front, that will see him hard to stop over this trip. The 6 probably plays for a fence run but she can stun and run home stoutly in good company. Both EW shows. Race 3 No. 8 West On Smoky and No. 7 Sunset Callisto The 8 to accelerate out wide here and look for the arm. Low 22 will then see him very hard to catch. The 7 can also produce something similar and will appreciate the small field. They should square off here. Race 4 No. 2 Spooky Hook and No. 5 Opie Monelli The 2 went under at very short quote last week but had no luck after a moderate getaway. Expect him to go better here off the good draw and go close. The 5 will descends late and that saw him score last time. Could be messy here at the first turn so he gets into it from there. Look for him late. Race 5 No. 6 Canya Mia and No. 3 Our Benson The 6 is better drawn off and she can run a great race here if she steps her best. Goes well around here and copped too many checks last time. Don’t ignore her. She’s a real threat. The 3 will look to lead and he will be bowling along in front until they turn for home where the last bit could get him. He might have a break however and hit the frame if he can hold on. Race 6 No. 7 Oreo Apprentice and No. 3 Loki Hook The 7 will muster up early and if he crosses these that should be it. Good effort last time winning over the 488 and will handle this trip as well. The 3 to improve here. He has a good turn of foot once balanced off the mat and will surprise here if he is close. Dont dismiss him. Race 7 No. 3 Sunset Pepe and No. 5 Butter Me Up The 3 will be short but if he finds the arm he should justify the short quote with little fuss. The 5 will go fast early and while she has a flat spot, she is sticking on better late and could find herself threatening if the fav makes an error. Small save there EW. Race 8 No. 8 Go Go Sonic and No. 5 Apache Havoc This map is capable of being messy for few here and the 8 could just sweep around and give them all too much to catch. He will keep coming regardless. The 5 goes fast and while this is a step in company, he is promising and could lead these and give a great sight again. Race 9 No. 6 Jumpin Jules and No. 4 Aztec Kid The 6 gets me again here and while that’s about the 8th time in a row, she has never disgraced herself. This is winnable and she will be a price. She doesn’t have to lead and will be running home hard and may not be too far off then. The 4 is enigmatic at best. He is fresh however and he is also fast when he can lead. That’s what you’re betting on and he will be a price to find out at least. GEELONG Gold cup heats on tonight. Top 2 chances in each heat below. Race 3 No. 3 Fabs Vegetable and No. 4 Storm Stroller Race 4 No. 7 Bun Storm and No. 6 Make No Promise Race 5 No. 8 Ethanol Water and No. 3 Here Comes Milli Race 6 No. 2 Piscopo Bale and No. 7 Magic Muffin Race 7 No. 4 Ethanol Volume and No. 2 Mepunga Shine Race 8 No. 6 Crackerjack Boom and No. 7 Patch You Later Race 9 No. 5 Orli Bale and No. 8 Mister Easy Race 10 No. 9 Bun Volcano Market Market
