Hannan’s Handicap Update

William Pike will be looking to continue his excellent form in the saddle when he teams up with Disposition in the $120,000 Listed TABtouch Hannan’s Handicap at Kalgoorlie on Wednesday.

Pike is fresh off a hit and run victory aboard Balf’s Choice in last week’s Listed Balaklava Cup in South Australia and he followed that up with a winning treble at Belmont on Saturday.

Disposition has put together a first class CV in his career to date winning the Listed Fairetha and Belgravia Stakes as well as running second in the Group 2 WA Guineas, second in the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic and a recent third in the Group 3 Belmont Sprint behind Rock Magic and Scales Of Justice.

In all the Adam Durrant trained son of Reset has had 21 starts for 6 wins and 7 placings with more than $800,000 in prizemoney.

Punters have rallied behind Disposition with his fixed odds price almost halving from his opening quote of $5.50 into $2.70.

Other runners of interest include last start Kambalda Cup winner Dark Royalty, the Anne King trained Miki Two Toes who won the Listed Farnley Stakes at Belmont last start and Key To Fame who ran 4^th behind Miki Two Toes in the Farnley.
