Greg Hooper’s Pinjarra Preview Posted on April 1, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 2 NO.1 MUSICAL ART MUSICAL ART ran well in town on debut. He settled at the rear and was doing his best work late over the 1200m. The increase in distance looks ideal and with normal racing luck he takes care of these. RACE 3 NO. 1 RIPPER RIO RIPPER RIO was a moral beaten first-up at this track. He settled close to the tail, raced greenly and smashed the line late but the post came a stride to quick and he went down by a head. He should relish the rise in trip and if he can race more tractably and get clear running from gate 1 he should pick these up and race clear for his maiden win. RACE 4 NO. 7 YOU’RE UP YOU’RE UP resumes from a spell with the benefit of a very impressive 5 length trial win. He should come out running and give them all something to catch up the Pinjarra straight. RACE 9 – $120,000 LISTED TABTOUCH PINJARRA CUP 2300m 12 ZARANTZ- Keen on ZARANTZ in this year’s TABtouch Pinjarra Cup. He got a mile back in the Bunbury Cup and was doing his best work late. He was the taken to Albany last Sunday and posted an impressive win with 58kg on his back. He drops back to minimum weight and has drawn to get a pie run from gate 3. (11) TONTO just missed in the Bunbury Cup. He looks close to winning a feature race. (4) KIROV BOY won this race last year. He has been steadily improving this preparation and I expect Ryan Hill will employ catch me if you can tactics at some point. (1) TOWER OF LONHRO raced a bit flat in the Bunbury Cup however he is a class horse and can improve with Pike getting on. Quaddie RACE 7 – 1, 2, 8 RACE 8 – 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 RACE 9 – 4, 11, 12 RACE 10 – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 11 Bet Now!
