Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on August 5, 2016August 8, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU 3YO MS PACE GALACTIC STAR (1) has won three of his four Australian starts in impressive fashion, with the best probably being a narrow victory over the talented The Odd Lover. He is drawn perfectly tonight and is the one to beat. BEAUDIENE BEAUFIGHTA (10) is a half-brother to Beaudiene Boaz and indicated that he will win plenty here on the back of a solid Byford trial win. ROCKNROLL WHITBY (2) and OHOKA DARCY (6) have both been in winning form and can play a part despite going up in class. Tips: 1 10 2 6 Suggested Bet: GALACTIC STAR (1) to win. Race 2: TABTOUCH MS PACE IDEAL JUSTICE (10) has won 9 of his 14 race starts but resumes here off a 10 month absence without a trial. He has plenty of ability and should get a cosy trip to offset the fact he is probably a run or two short of peak fitness. BILLIES A STAR (1) has only been placed once in his last 13 starts and is barely recognisable as the Inters hope he was at this time last year but gets all the favours here. BETTOR OFFER (9) will be fitter for last week’s run but has a tough draw to overcome. FERNLEIGH REBEL (5) may try to cross early and would run a race if he led. Tips: 10 1 9 5 Suggested Bet: IDEAL JUSTICE (10) to win. Race 3: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION HEAT 1 – FRI NOV 25 MS PACE CHAR DO NEIGH (2) won his first three WA runs in fine style and was then far from disgraced in sitting outside Rub Of The Green and running 2nd to that pacer last week. He has the barrier advantage over his main rivals and is clearly the one to beat. MATTJESTIC STAR (3) won three of his last four in NSW and ran a great 2nd first up here and must be considered from the draw. RYCROFT (12) has run blistering times to win at his last two starts but won’t be able to lead tonight. MUSCLE TORQUE (4) has ability if he is right and near his top. Tips: 2 3 12 4 Suggested Bet: CHAR DO NEIGH (2) to win. Race 4: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION HEAT 2 – TUES NOV 29 MS PACE GLENLOCHAR (9) was working up to a win and last week looked his race but he galloped just after the start and trailed the field. He has trialled satisfactorily since then and can overcome the draw and make amends tonight. DELIGHTFUL JADE (12) put up a somewhat uncharacteristically brave performance last week in a career best run and will be hard to beat with a repeat of that effort. A BOY NAMED ROSIE (11) was in good form at Albany before a spell and has trialled nicely for his return. SAY IT NOW (1) looks a place hope from the pole. Tips: 12 11 1 3 Suggested Bet: DELIGHTFUL JADE (12). Race 5: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION HEAT 3 – FRI DEC 2 THE SCHRADER QUALIFYING HEAT 1 AMERICAN BOY (2) has won 13 of his 18 race starts and has been far from disgraced in breezing and finishing 2nd to Ricimer at his last two. He is well drawn tonight and is clearly the one to beat. THE ODD LOVER (12) also has a great strike rate and was a fantastic 2nd at his last start but has to contend with a back line draw. ANOTHER VINNIE (11) also sat outside Ricimer and ran 2nd to him on both occasions recently and should be thereabouts. FLYALONG FALCON (1) is drawn to get a nice run and can be placed. Tips: 2 12 11 1 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN BOY (2) to win. Race 6: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION FINAL – FRI DEC 9 MS PACE OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (5) impressed at his last start when he worked up three wide at the bell and beat a very similar field. He is better drawn tonight and will start a lot shorter than the $15 available last week. RUN ONEOVER (8) hasn’t finished further back than 2nd in his eight starts since resuming from a spell and will be thereabouts again. BEAUDIENE BOAZ (9) had every chance last start but they did run a quick time over the staying distance so his fitness may have been the issue and is too good to overlook. CYAMACH (11) is racing well without winning and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 1 11 10 8 Suggested Bet: OUR JIMMY JOHNSTONE (5) to win. Race 7: KERRY CLARKE WESTBRED 4YO & 5YO FINAL THREE BEARS (3) has won three of his last five and couldn’t get into the race at his last start when the winner ran home in 55.6. He is well drawn tonight and should give a great sight. CHOCCY MAC (4) has resumed from a spell in good form and won’t be far away from this draw. MASTER JAXON (7) ran 2nd to THREE BEARS (3) at his first start after a break and was then a close 2nd to Sky Art and has the strength to overcome this draw. BHAGWAN (2) looks the leader and is always hard to get past. Tips: 3 4 7 2 Suggested Bet: THREE BEARS (3) to win. Race 8: 2016 TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION PERTH MARES MS PACE TYPHOON TAN (3) drops in class on her last start 3rd to Delightful Jade where she surrendered the lead and only finished a neck from the winner. She may not find the front here but should settle handy and be hard to beat. STRAITTOTHEHILTON (5) has been racing consistently and is another who will appreciate the easier class tonight. GOTA GOOD LOOKADDA (1) looks the leader and will give them something to catch. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (2) should get a nice run in the moving line and will be finishing strongly. Tips: 3 5 1 2 Suggested Bet: TYPHOON TAN (3) to win. Race 9: WWW.PERTHINTERDOMINION.COM.AU 2YO FILLIES MS PACE LADY LUCA (8) won the Diamond Classic five starts back and her recent form has been strong. She ran a close 2nd to Angel Bromac before comfortably winning a two-horse heat of the Breeders Crown. She is drawn wide tonight but has class and race fitness on her side. ROCKIN ANNAREELIN (1) makes her debut on the back of promising Byford trial form and is one to watch. SWEET GINA (4) broke through at her 3rd race start and is improving. SOHO CHANGELING (7) disappointed as a $1.30 favourite earlier in the week but can be placed. Tips: 8 1 4 7 Suggested Bet: LADY LUCA (8) to win. Race 10: BOOK YOUR PERTH INTER DOMINION HOSPITALITY PACKAGES NOW 3YO WESTBRED FILLIES MS PACE FALLING STARS (1) hasn’t had the best of luck at her last two starts but has still finished 2nd on both occasions. She has the perfect draw tonight and should give a great sight in a moderate line-up. DELIGHTFUL DAYS (4) has disappointed at her last three WA runs but has had a freshen up and would be hard to beat at her best. BETTOR BLING (5) has had a disappointing 3YO season but has competed in a lot stronger company so will appreciate the drop in class. MELIMAC (2) shouldn’t be too far away from her nice draw. Tips: 1 4 5 2 Suggested Bet: FALLING STARS (1) to win. Bet Now
