Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on September 30, 2016October 3, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: GET THE TOUCH, GET THE TABTOUCH WESTBRED MS PACE SUSPICIOUS LIFE (6) led throughout to win a stand here three starts back and was a close 3rd to Master Jaxon at Bunbury when they ran home in 54.9. He has good gate speed and is the on top selection in a wide open affair. WALTER JAMES (7) was a strong 4th to Delightful Offer after facing the breeze last start and should make his presence felt again. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (4) has been flying in mares’ company but should measure up against the boys tonight. BHAGWAN (9) was a brave 3rd last week and could try to cross. Tips: 6 7 4 9 Suggested Bet: SUSPICIOUS LIFE (6) to win. Race 2: TABTOUCH SUPER PICK MS PACE JOHN OF ARC (8) is a hugely talented but injury plagued pacer who has won 16 of his 26 starts. His trainer has declared him a live chance in the Inters and his recent trial form suggests he will be in for a great campaign if his legs stand up. IMA CONNOIDSSEUR (7) doesn’t have the class of his main rival but has won his last three, is race fit and his gate speed could see him find the top where he will be hard to catch. TORETTO (3) hasn’t been disgraced at his two runs back from a spell and is drawn nicely. BURNING (4) will be competitive but doesn’t have the turn of foot of his rivals. Tips: 8 7 3 4 Suggested Bet: JOHN OF ARC (8) to win. Race 3: BOOK NOW FOR THE 2016 TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION PERTH MS PACE THE ARSONIST (7) has been placed at his last five starts and gets his chance to break through tonight. He has finished 2nd to the likes of El Jacko and Chicago Bull recently and that form reads very well for a race of this nature. THE REVOLUTION (11) is the other class runner and obvious danger. He was a good 2nd here last week and is capable of going one better with the right run. KURIOUS (1) and BAILEYS GOLD (10) don’t have the class of their two main rivals but should enjoy nice runs from their peg line draws. Tips: 7 11 1 10 Suggested Bet: THE ARSONIST (7) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 No. 7 THE ARSONIST - Money Back – Run 2nd Race 4: WWW.PERTHINTERDOMINION.COM.AU MIGHTY MAJOR (1) was a heavily backed favourite last week but was attacked by BLISSFUL BOY (3) and capitulated to run last. If he gets an easier lead or nice trail he can bounce back. BLISSFUL BOY (3) was a brave 5th when doing all of the work last week and will be hard to beat if he does find the top. SOHO WONDER (10) is a different horse on the pegs and could be an improver from this barrier. SPRINGSTEEN (2) has disappointed this campaign but is well drawn and drops in class. Tips: 1 3 10 2 Suggested Bet: SOHO WONDER (10) each way. Race 5: 2016 TABTOUCH PERTH INTER DOMINION STARTS NOV 25 MS PACE BUNGALOW BILL (7) has only missed a place once in his last nine starts and will be thereabouts again. He did all of the work when 3rd to Smokey The Bandit last start and is the one to beat. TACT MAJOR (8) wasn’t fancied last week but was well driven to score and is capable of overcoming the wide draw again. BONNY UNDER FIRE (1) was held up behind a tiring runner at her return from a spell and could be a big improver tonight. OHOKA SQUIRE (2) was disappointing at Kalgoorlie but must be considered on his previous form. Tips: 7 8 1 2 Suggested Bet: BONNY UNDER FIRE (1) each way. Race 6: 2016 TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION AT GLOUCESTER PARK THE WARWICK FINAL GOTA GOOD LOOK ADDA (1) led throughout to win her heat in good style and gets her chance to repeat the dose from this draw. HIDDEN BAD (3) was impressive in facing the breeze and winning the slowest heat and must be respected. MON LAMOUR (10) chased home GOTA GOOD LOOK ADDA (1) last start and should be in a position to finish close again tonight. SUZIES GEM (8) faced the breeze in the same race when 3rd and should be thereabouts again. Tips: 1 3 10 8 Suggested Bet: GOTA GOOD LOOKADDA (1) to win. Race 7: NAVY CUP MS PACE BETTORS FIRE (7) has won his last three in great style and can make it four on end tonight. He was unwanted in the betting but took advantage of ELEGANT CHRISTIAN breaking and won well last start and can utilise the barrier advantage he has over his main two rivals. BEAUDIENE BOAZ (8) backers were reeling again last start but there was nothing wrong with his effort and he still must be respected. ELEGANT CHRISTIAN (9) started at $1.30 against BETTORS FIRE (7) when he blew the start but will be at more liberal odds from this draw. OUR BLACKBIRD (2) is yet to regain his best form but can be placed. Tips: 7 8 9 2 Suggested Bet: BETTORS FIRE (7) to win. Race 8: TABRADIO CONDITIONED HANDICAP SS PACE FLYALONG FALCON (8) hasn’t won for a while but was a good 2nd to The Bucket List before running on to finish 3rd to Mynameskenny. He always needs a touch of luck in his races but is racing well. SWIMBETWEEENTHEFLAGS (10) was an ultra-impressive winner from the stand before a good 2nd last week. He is not as well suited off the 10m handicap but must be respected. DONEGAL CHOKIN (5) and BASHFUL COMPTON (3) are both good beginners and either would give a great sight if they found the front. Tips: 8 10 5 3 Suggested Bet: FLYALONG FALCON (8) each way. Race 9: BOOK YOUR MELBOURNE CUP LUNCH AT GLOUCESTER PARK TROTTERS MOBILE CARDIGAN BOKO (7) is considered the state’s best trotter and has won 16 of his 25 race starts. He resumes here from an 11 month break and hasn’t trialled which is a concern but his class can’t be questioned. SUNNYS LITTLE WHIZ (5) has won all four starts since arriving in WA and is ready for the rise in class. ARMED FORCE (9) has plenty of ability but frequently does things wrong and resumes from a short break without a trial. DIAMOND GEEZER (6) doesn’t have the class of some of these but is racing consistently. Tips: 7 5 9 6 Suggested Bet: CARDIGAN BOKO (7) to win. Race 10: WWW.GLOUCESTERPARK.COM.AU 3YO MS PACE SOMEWHEREONLYIKNOW (9) has been impressive in winning his last three starts and is clearly the one to beat. He faced the breeze and raced away from his rivals in a 56.5 last half at Bunbury and can overcome the wide draw. TYLER BRETT (1) has warmed up for his debut with two good recent trials and could be the danger. LEICA SPOILT ADDA (5) and ENEMY LINES (8) fought out a recent GP event and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 9 1 5 8 Suggested Bet: SOMEWHEREONLYIKNOW (9) to win. Bet Now
