Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on July 20, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND OPEN ON COURSE ALL WEEK MS PACE IDEAL TYSON (9) was a good winner over Messi before leading and being outsprinted by JOHNNY DISCO (12) in a 26.3 final quarter. He has the strength to overcome the wide draw and can reverse the result on his main rival. JOHNNY DISCO (12) utilised the sprint lane to great effect last start and looks the main danger but will have to work at some stage from this draw. OHOKA DARCY (6) was a good winner recently and his last two efforts can be overlooked. BILLY MACK (7) doesn’t have the class of the other trio but is racing well. Tips: 9 12 6 7 Suggested Bet: IDEAL TYSON (9) to win. Race 2: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND ONE STOP SHOP MS PACE RED SALUTE (9) hasn’t finished closer than 6th in his last ten starts but he has been racing in stronger company. He made up ground when midfield behind Thereugo last week and will appreciate the drop in class. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (11) comes from NSW with only moderate form but joins the Hall camp and could be a big improver. DANA DUKE (3) was a solid 4th off a 30m handicap last start and is well drawn. ROCKNROLL WHITBY (12) lost form before a spell and resumes here without a trial but would be right in this if near his top. Tips: 9 11 3 12 Suggested Bet: RED SALUTE (9) to win. Race 3: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND AUSTRALIA & NZ WIDE MARES MS PACE DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (5) faced the breeze when a strong winner before working hard in the run when 3rd to Quite A Delight last week. She will probably be in the breeze again but will give a great sight. MARY CATHERINE (12) worked hard in the final lap when 2nd in the same race and must be respected despite the back line draw. TALKERUP (2) goes up in class but has the draw to be prominent and is a winning chance. GIULIANA RANCIC (10) will enjoy a soft run on the pegs and can run into the money at odds. Tips: 5 12 2 10 Suggested Bet: DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (5) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 no. 5 DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK - Money Back – Run 2nd Race 4: WWW.HORSEANDHOUND.COM.AU MS PACE SPRINTER (7) broke through after seven consecutive minor placings when a good winner over Mako Shadow in quick time here last week. He has a turn of foot that is superior to his opposition and looks very hard to beat. BILLIES A STAR (8) hasn’t performed at his best for quite a while but drops a long way in class and must be considered. KING LEBRON (4) was a solid 4th to Zach Maguire last week and has the best draw of the main chances. FROSTYFLYER (5) continues to race well and can be in the money again. Tips: 7 8 4 5 Suggested Bet: SPRINTER (7) to win. Race 5: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND 92219493 THE CHANDON QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MILITARY MASTER (10) was hammered in front before finishing a good 4th here before leading throughout for a comfortable win. He is drawn awkwardly tonight but there should be a solid tempo to enable him to get off the pegs. VANQUISHED (7) has been racing against the likes of Chicago Bull and Natural Disaster and will appreciate the drop in class. THEREUGO (9) led throughout in quick time here last week but would have to cross quickly to repeat the dose. HARRY HOO (11) is another who should be suited by a solid pace. Tips: 10 7 9 11 Suggested Bet: MILITARY MASTER (10) to win. Race 6: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND FOR ALL YOUR EQUINE NEEDS MS PACE THE BUCKET LIST (9) is racing extremely well, including a strong win over Our Jimmy Johnstone and a great 2nd to Chicago Bull last week. He is drawn wide but is suited by the staying distance and is the one to beat. IDEAL ALICE (1) hit the line nicely behind Chicago Bull at her first run back from a spell and should enjoy a soft lead here. BETTOR REWARD (5) was a good 2nd to Motu Premier last start and shouldn’t be far away. OUR JERICHO (3) was less than 5m from Chicago Bull at the finish last week and can be placed again. Tips: 9 1 5 3 Suggested Bet: THE BUCKET LIST (9) to win. Race 7: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND AT GLOUCESTER PARK BOTRA CUP TOMMY BE GOOD (11) has been racing extremely well in stands and performed well in a mobile event when 3rd to Chicago Bull two starts back. He returns to the tapes tonight and can overcome his 20m handicap. CUT FOR AN ACE (9) was a strong 3rd in better company last start and can be in the finish with a safe start. RYCROFT (10) has shown he is capable of winning an event of this nature but has galloped away at his past two starts. ROBYNS RAIDER (6) led and ran a close 2nd last week and could give them something to catch. Tips: 11 9 10 6 Suggested Bet: TOMMY BE GOOD (11) to win. Race 8: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDERS OVER $300 MS PACE THE PUBLISHER (5) has won his last three on end including an all the way win here last week. This field doesn’t look a great deal stronger and he should make it four on the trot. ABRAXAS BLUES (9) and IM FREE FALLING (8) are the other two class runners in this field but both have wide draws to overcome. IM LISART (3) returned to something like his best form with a last start 2nd to McArdles Gem and has the barrier to be prominent throughout. Tips: 5 9 8 3 Suggested Bet: THE PUBLISHER (5) to win. Race 9: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND AT GP OPEN EVERY RACE NIGHT & EARLY WED MORNING 2YO FILLIES MS PACE CIMORENE (4) caused an upset when beating Miss Sangrial in the Diamond Classic and hasn’t had much luck in her subsequent starts. She drops a long way in class for this assignment and can bounce back into the winners’ circle. ROSIES IDEAL (8) was an impressive winner from this barrier two starts back and has the strength to be right in the finish again. DIAMOND DOVE (1) had to do too much work last start but can be a big improver from the pole. PRINCESS MAJOR (6) was well driven to win last start and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 4 8 1 6 Suggested Bet: CIMORENE (4) to win. Race 10: STIRLING ASPHALT 3YO WESTBRED FILLIES MS PACE SUSIE ROCKS (9) has done things wrong at both of her starts but has shown ability in both efforts. This field is not strong and she will give a great sight if she gets it right tonight. DIBARA (1) had a win and 2nd at her last two starts before a spell and has trialled nicely for her return and looks hard to beat from the pole. BLACKJACK ANNA (7) disappointed last start but her previous efforts were good enough to figure prominently tonight. UNDER THE TOWER (8) led throughout at Pinjarra on Monday but isn’t as well drawn here. Tips: 9 1 7 8 Suggested Bet: SUSIE ROCKS (9) to win. Bet Now
