Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on February 1, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: WORLDWIDE OSBORNE PARK 3YO MS PACE SPEED MAN (4) has won three of his five starts but particularly impressed with his latest effort when he faced the breeze and fought on well in a quick last half to finish 2nd to Mistahmistah. He is drawn inside his main rival and looks hard to beat. BECHERS BROOK (5) has won four of his six starts and is the obvious danger. ONE OFF DELIGHT (1) led throughout to win at Pinjarra and holds the key to the race from the pole. AMELIAS COURAGE (9) crosses the Nullabor with very good Victorian form but is drawn wide. Tips: 4 5 1 9 Suggested Bet: SPEED MAN (4) to win. SuperPick - Race 1 no. 4 SPEED MAN - Money Back Race 2: $ WORLDWIDE MALAGA THE LEWIS QUALIFYING HEAT 1 MARES MS PACE MON LILLIES (8) has led throughout to beat stronger fields at her last two starts. She is drawn wide here but has very good gate speed and will be suited by taking on her own sex. TAJIES GIRL (2) was impressive in leading throughout to beat Gotta Go Gabbana two starts back and must be considered from the draw. AUCTIONEERS ELSU (4) will be suited by a fast early tempo and will be running on. DAME PUISSANT (7) beat a similar field last start and is capable of winning again. Tips: 8 2 4 7 Suggested Bet: MON LILLIES (8) to win. Race 3: WORLDWIDE JOONDALUP MS PACE IMA ROCKNROLL LEGEND (2) has been placed at four of his six starts this campaign despite battling bad barriers. He is drawn perfectly tonight and look a great winning chance. BRONZE SEEKER (1) looked to have a perfect draw last week but was skittled at the start and looks a major player from the pole. DREDLOCK ROCKSTAR (11) ran a nice 3rd to Maczaffair last week and will appreciate a drop in class. CHANGE OF ADDRESS (10) won from this barrier last week and will enjoy a soft run in transit. Tips: 2 1 11 10 Suggested Bet: IMA ROCKNROLL LEGEND (2) to win. Race 4: WORLDWIDE PERTH QV1 MS PACE REAL LUCKY (1) won consecutive races before finishing a close 2nd to Abraxas Blues in 1.53.8. He has the pole tonight and looks extremely hard to beat. LIVURA (8) is the other class runner in this field but has a wide draw to overcome. MISTER VERSACE (4) resumes from a 10 month spell but has trialled and won’t be far away if forward in condition. OHOKA DARCY (5) has been racing in collectively stronger fields and can be in the money tonight. Tips: 1 8 4 5 Suggested Bet: REAL LUCKY (1) to win. Race 5: WORLDWIDE PRINTING LORD MAYORS CUP MS PACE CHICAGO BULL (2) faced the breeze in the Fremantle and WA Cups and was game in defeat in both. He is drawn perfectly and should be winning tonight. MY HARD COPY (9) defeated Lazarus and CHICAGO BULL (2) in the Fremantle Cup before being held up in the WA Cup. He beat a weaker field last start and is the main danger despite the wide draw. BETTORS FIRE (3) is better suited over this shorter trip and will give a sight if he can cross at the start. OHOKA PUNTER (1) looks a place chance from the pole. Tips: 2 9 3 1 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (2) to win. Race 6: WORLDWIDE EAST PERTH MS PACE BETTOR BOA (3) finished near the rear behind Maczaffair before hitting the line hard to finish 4th last start. She is better drawn tonight and this field isn’t strong. CHUCK NORRIS (1) ended a sequence of seven unplaced runs with a strong 3rd at Pinjarra and can give a sight from the pole. BROTHA OFA GANGSTER (4) was a strong winner from the breeze here two starts back and is capable of repeating the dose. THREE KINGS (10) is drawn to get a soft run and can be placed. Tips: 3 1 4 10 Suggested Bet: CHUCK NORRIS (1) each way. Race 7: WORLDWIDE WEST PERTH MARES MS PACE ALKIRAS DESIRE (4) has been placed at her last three starts in stronger company and gets her chance against a moderate field tonight. SEA ME SMILE (1) looks the early leader and should be thereabouts from her perfect draw. ITS MY LUCKNOW (10) has been placed at two of her past three starts and should enjoy a nice run in transit from this draw. NOTHINGBUTADREAM (12) has won two of her last three but has a tough barrier to overcome. Tips: 4 1 10 12 Suggested Bet: ALKIRAS DESIRE (4) to win. Race 8: WORLDWIDE FREMANTLE MS PACE HOT FRATERNITY (9) won three starts back and then worked hard to find the top when a narrow 2nd here last start. He is drawn wide but this field is not strong and he looks the one to beat. IROCKMYWORLD (4) was a solid 3rd at Albany last start and this actually represents a drop in class. BIG SPENDING TELF (1) has shown enough to suggest he can be competitive from the pole in this moderate field. MAXIMUM JOLT (10) has finished midfield at big odds at his last two and can run into the money tonight. Tips: 9 4 1 10 Suggested Bet: HOT FRATERNITY (9) to win. Race 9: WORLDWIDE BENTLEY MS PACE DAVE O’BRIEN (1) has finished midfield or worse at his last six starts but won’t get a better chance to win a metro race. He looks the likely leader and should prove hard to catch over the sprint trip. DESTINED RULE (5) has also been unplaced at his last five starts and isn’t performing at his best but will appreciate the drop in class. STAR ARMBRO (10) is also racing well below his best but must be considered from this barrier. TACTILE SENSATION (8) is drawn wide but at least knows how to find the line. Tips: 1 5 10 8 Suggested Bet: DAVE O’BRIEN (1) each way. Bet Now
