RACE 2 NO.8 MISS SISKA

MISS SISKA has been racing in good form and drops sharply in class when she contests the TAB App Trophy (1700m). The Tony McEvoy trained mare ran very well when finishing 5th behind SHUMOOKH in the Group 2 Tristarc Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on October 20. She will relish a step up in distance, looked drawn for a good run and handles all conditions. On a tough day, MISS SISKA appeals as the best bet of the day.

RACE 3 NO.10 FIFTY STARS

FIFTY STARS is a good talent from the Darren Weir stable that will be fitter for two runs this campaign and looks the one to beat when he run in the 4 and 5YO Benchmark 90 Handicap (1400m). The son of Sea The Stars has been runner up in both runs this preparation, most recently when 2nd behind MANUEL over 1400 metres at Caulfield on October 17. He drops sharply in weight this time and, with added fitness, can record his 5th win from 7 starts.

RACE 5 NO.6 CHABREET

CHABREET comes down from Sydney for the Snowden stable and looks well placed to break through for his second career win when he contests the 3YO Plate (1000m). The son of Exceed and Excel has proven that he best suited to short course racing and trialled like a coming winner at Randwick on October 30. He is drawn to come down the outside of the Flemington straight track and makes plenty of appeal in a competitive race.
