RACE 1 NO.7 MIMI’S AWARD

MIMI’S AWARD made rapid development last preparation and ran a handy first up race which sets her up to produce a bold second-up run in the Grand Handicap (1700m). The four year old resumed in a very strong form race when finishing 9th behind subsequent stakes winner SIRILEO MISS over 1400 metres at Sandown Hillside on September 25. She rounded that race off nicely suggesting the extra distance of this race will be in her favour. Daniel Stackhouse has enjoyed good success on the mare and he partners her again in this race in which she appeals as a great each way chance.

RACE 2 NO.1 VIANELLO

VIANELLO has been a model of consistency this campaign and looks ideally placed to break through for a well deserved win when she contests the 3YO Fillies Plate (1400m). The daughter of Teofilo rode a fast speed yet battled on well when finishing 3rd behind QUEEN OF DUBAI in the Jim Moloney Stakes (1400m) at Sandown Hillside on September 25. She handles soft ground, should race near the lead and looks the best bet of the day.

RACE 3 NO.3 EXTREME FLIGHT

EXTREME FLIGHT has been a revelation since the blinkers have been applied and is well placed to complete a hat trick of wins when he contests the Gothic Stakes (1400m). The son of Extreme Choice powered home to win at Moe two starts back then produced a similar finishing burst to prove too good for a handy field over 1400 metres at Sandown Hillside on September 25. The Freedman stable won this race with ENDANGER last year and can go back-to-back with EXTREME FLIGHT who represents one of the better bets of the day.
