Scott’s Wednesday Bunbury Preview Posted on April 4, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 ZACKARIAH BEAU was eye catching held up in behind traffic first-up and then blew like the wind in betting second-up. This is winnable. WELCOME SHADOW should lead or box seat from the gate. SAYAT was well below par first-up at York. FOUR WHITE FOX likely runs gross unders for his form but this is not a tough race. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – ZACKARIAH BEAU EACHWAY Race 2 GOLDEN ARCHES was slow away on debut and then never really travelled. Think he is better than that and gear changes may help. IT COMES NATURAL slides forward from the gate. WISE MONKEY has put together two very good runs. COSMIC REFLECTION should get it soft from the gate. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 1 – 10 Suggested Bet – GOLDEN ARCHES EACHWAY Race 3 ZON ZOL came from a long way back in a race that has already produced a subsequent winner. With natural improvement is hard to roll. MELAFORTE looks handy enough at trials and may sneak under the radar. ST ELIGIUS is drawn sticky but gets back regardless. CYCLONE MAN went well fresh at a big price. Numbers: 7 – 8 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – ZON ZOL WIN Race 4 LUNA ROSSA seems to only run for Glenn Smith. His engagement is huge and will go round at a juicy price. MONTAGNA will be incredibly hard to beat but the price will be equally tough to accept. KENDEL’S FLOOD and ACROSS THE SEA finished side by side two starts ago, likely to be a big price differential. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 10 – 9 Suggested Bet – LUNA ROSSA EACHWAY Race 5 RACY AVA bypasses the Natasha Stakes for this race and if she is going to be any sort of chance in the Oaks then needs to put on a clinic here. DR SYKES is a bit hit and miss but this is a nice race for him. LET’S TWIST continues to hit the line hard. DAISY EXPRESS is ultra consistent when in-form. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – RACY AVA WIN Race 6 WICKED HUNTER has no numerical form but the betting suggests that a big run is close. He is better than what he is currently producing. ARFA CHANCE should slide forwards into a nice spot. LIGHT THE FUSE is always there abouts in this grade. FAIR NAKITA was ridden cold last start, suggest it wasn’t by design but she went well. Numbers: 5 – 6 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – WICKED HUNTER EACHWAY Race 7 AMALIE ARGOT looked a nice horse before her debut and belted moderate maiden opposition before going shin sore. Trialed up well and the stable is flying. ROUND THE POINT will give her something to chase out in front. MURRAY THE BULLDOG is best left to run his own race. THE ANAESTHETIST gets back and runs on. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – AMALIE ARGOT WIN Race 8 MEN OF MUKINBUDIN responds to strong whip riding and Jarrad Noske could be the man to lift him over the line. Building towards a race like this. YEAH BRAVO was serviceable at his WA debut. ABSOLUTE MAGIC can sprint well fresh. NIAYCHI is hard to catch but talented enough to win. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 5 – 7 Suggested Bet – MEN OF MUKINBUDIN WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 7 1,2,3,5,6,7 4 1,3,4,5,7 Bet Now
