Scott’s Wednesday Belmont Preview Posted on August 29, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 MIRACLE MAN was never a winning chance back in the field in Saturday grade. This is worlds easier. ABDICATOR may be forced to lead this event. ROCK OR BUST has tackled harder than this all preparation. QUEALLY hit the line hard over 1400m. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – MIRACLE MAN WIN SuperPick - Race 1 No. 1 MIRACLE MAN - Win Boost Race 2 TIME ON MY SIDE looks like she will find the front and from there she makes her own luck. Effort first-up was good enough to win this. STATE PROSECUTOR looks like he needs a mile and beyond but this is not a strong maiden. JUST JUDE was caught wide throughout first-up. Needs to find cover. TESTA DE LAGO should get every chance from the draw. Numbers: 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – TIME ON MY SIDE WIN Race 3 THREADS OF IVEY was an eye catcher on debut before finding trouble in Saturday grade in a race dominated by on speed runners. This is much easier. COUNTESS NATASHA was working home fairly well first-up when she got skittled. ATHLETE trialed well without blinkers. SUPERIOR SMILE has ability but does a lot wrong. Numbers: 8 – 7 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – THREADS OF IVEY EACHWAY Race 4 AMALIEMOO is probably suited over further but there is enough speed in this to bring her right into the finish. Trial was super. MISS LAWRENCE is a small query with blinkers because she can get fired up. THREESUN will appreciate being back on top of the ground. TOMOHAWK has shown glimpses in his career. Numbers: 3 – 7 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – AMALIEMOO EACHWAY Race 5 FREEZ’EMOFF is a newly turned 3 year old filly tackling 2000m at only her second career outing. Most of these have reached their peak and she has the most upside. MY FAIR BEAUTY worked home well fresh at a mile. This trip suits. HE’S DUNNA RUNNA could find the front. AMALFI LASS looks a real grinder these days, maybe the trip will be up her alley. Numbers: 10 – 4 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – FREEZ’EMOFF EACHWAY Race 6 THE ANAESTHETIST should find a spot three wide with cover and he’ll be doing his best work late when the leaders are paddling. SOVEREIGNTY LADY is yet to race around a bend. Expect her to go very well. JUST A FLUKE is a big class dropper but the draw hurts a lot. COUNT TOMOZ OFF might just need some Pike magic to show his best. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – THE ANAESTHETIST EACHWAY Race 7 GENERAL HUSSON has exceptional 1400m form. With Pike aboard and a gun draw he will be awfully hard to roll. COME ON BOARD is always a chance in this grade. Strong on-speed type fresh. BRADFORD BADBOY has been out of form for a long time but will steal one like this soon(ish). NEW TIME continues to race full of heart. The old boy deserves another victory before retirement. Numbers: 6 – 2 – 10 – 1 Suggested Bet – GENERAL HUSSON WIN Race 8 SING FOR US DAN has been excellent when three wide throughout at both starts this campaign. If he could lob a spot in the clear behind Chancery he has to go close. O’REILLY’S CRUMPET is a suck horse but on paper this again looks a winnable assignment for him. BATTLE TORQUE gets back and runs on. SILVER PLATED is as honest as they come. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – SING FOR US DAN EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,2,3,4,6,10 1,3,5,9 2,6 2,5,6 Bet Now
