Race 1

ILLMATIC has been excellent at both starts up the tricky Pinjarra straight. ARNIE’S PRIDE could be one to sneak under the radar, two nice trials. IRISH MOSHE trialed well for her WA debut. NIC’S DAUGHTER next.

Suggested Bet – ILLMATIC WIN

Race 2

TAKE NO PRISONERS comes from moderate Geraldton races however looks ideally placed on the quick turn around. SILVER ROLLER belted weak opposition to break her maiden. JOYOUS AFFAIR was better than reads on paper at her most recent. PLAIN VITAL does not win out of turn but this is her easiest assignment in years.

Numbers: 1 – 2 – 6 – 5

Suggested Bet – TAKE NO PRISONERS EACHWAY

Race 3

HIGH CALYPSO fresh has the speed to find a prominent position, but the draw means that could be out deep. His form prior puts him right in the finish. THUNDERSTRUT is another with speed who may have to do it tough. SHIRASCA back to 1000m is positive. BELLA’S KEEPER next.

Race 4

THE NICCONAIN was backed as if unbeatable at Narrogin and that is exactly the way it panned out. Can jump and cross. TANGO ORA has blistering gate speed but may have to utilise it to find the fence. GET THE VIBE comes from stronger races than this. ASCOT GOLD best of the closers.

Race 5

HOT BRESA must lump a full 60kg but the rain around the place will help his cause. SUMMIT TRAIL was brave in defeat at his most recent. BROTHER’S KEEPER can definitely measure up in midweek company. SCORELINE comes from stronger races and is improving at every run this preparation.

Numbers: 1 – 6 – 2 – 11

Suggested Bet – HOT BRESA EACHWAY

Race 6

PROXY has a woeful paper fresh record but most of those were tougher than this. If the track is at all soft his chances improve tenfold. COME ON BOARD is capable of leading or box seating and going close at odds. DUSHA ZACHISTKI grows a leg for the Wizard. CAPRICORN DANCER goes back and runs on.

Numbers: 8 – 3 – 5 – 4

Suggested Bet – PROXY EACHWAY

Race 7

ORANGE STRUDEL is ultra consistent and gets another chance to break through for a deserved win this preparation. WEST FIFTY FOURTH looks a promising type in the making. SUMMER’S DREAM was excellent up the wrong part of the Pinjarra straight. INVINCIBLE WARRIOR improves lengths with sting out of the ground.
