Scott’s Wednesday Ascot Preview Posted on March 6, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 AMELIA’S LA BOUT looks like another exciting juvenile from the state’s premier yard. Could be well above average and looks incredibly hard to roll. DAISHIO hit the line hard in a recent trial. AMERICAN SOUL was far from disgraced on debut. YOURTHEONEFORME was disappointing first-up, he’s better than that. Numbers: 10 – 11 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – AMELIA’S LA BOUT WIN Race 2 HEART OF COEUR was never a winning chance first-up with the run he was afforded in transit. Probably looking for further but this is winnable. SUNBOSS was strongly backed in Saturday grade and is getting close. GOOD FORTUNE is building towards a maiden win. COOL DYNAMITE showed ability in her first preparation. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 8 – 6 Suggested Bet – HEART OF COEUR EACHWAY Race 3 MOSCHARD will get his chance to break maiden status as long as they can make any ground at all. His first-up run was excellent. UPWARDS OTHERS comes from a strong form reference. LIKE HIM A BIT may be better suited over this trip. WESTERN MAGIC hit the line hard fresh. Numbers: 7 – 8 – 5 – 15 Suggested Bet – MOSCHARD WIN SuperPick - Race 3 No. 7 MOSCHARD - Money Back Race 4 WITCHERY WOMAN was able to sprint well fresh and is far better suited at this trip. Could sneak under the radar. SPIN ON COMMAND should find the front with relative ease and from there will be tough to run down. KATUSHA looks a handy little staying filly in the making. IN DA HOOD has improved lengths in the midwest. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 5 – 4 Suggested Bet – WITCHERY WOMAN EACHWAY Race 5 DARK PROPSECT has been well below his best in three runs this preparation but also falls into the weakest race he has seen. OMINOUS WARNING can always give cheek if he is able to find the front. THUNDER BOOM was an encouraging run first-up at an unsuitable trip. MRS HARTLEY is going well and should be there abouts. Numbers: 4 – 9 – 11 – 8 Suggested Bet – DARK PROSPECT WIN Race 6 SIGIL has now caught the eye at his past three starts and finally draws a gate to settle more prominent. On paper this looks his race. JUPITER RISING was well found first-up and ran a belter. FAST AS THE WIND will relish the step up in trip. PERCEPTIVE MISS is a nice filly but surprising to see her back in trip. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 8 – 10 Suggested Bet – SIGIL WIN Race 7 SALLY’S REALM comes from a relatively strong 3 year old race but is drawn to get a long way back. PARADINI is drawn to sit closer in the run than what she did at Geraldton last start. ON THE TURPS bolted in at Bunbury and this is not a lot harder. ZEFIRO is hard to catch but on his day would give this a rattle. Numbers: 10 – 6 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – SALLY’S REALM WIN Race 8 VITAL DANCER has raced in exclusively harder company his entire career and if he was able to park outside the speed or even cross them then he goes close. JUST A FLUKE travels better for Tayla Stone than any other jockey and is another on pacer. IMPERIAL VENUS could end up a fair way back in traffic. KEEPER’S TALE looks to have come back well. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 1 – 10 Suggested Bet – VITAL DANCER WIN Quaddie (Races 5 – 8) 1,4,8,9,11 4,5,7,8,10 1,2,4,6,7,10 1,2,3,4,10 [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2018-03-07/pr” linkrel=””]
