Race 1

ULTIMATE TESS (10) has been racing in good consistent form for a while now and looks to try and pick up a deserved win in this, she trialled well last Wednesday beating her likely main danger and should bounce off that well, versatile and hard to beat. SKY LINDY (3) placed in the trial behind the on top selection and was a nice effort, should improve off that and has a front row draw to work with. LOTS OF CHANGE (9) ran well to win two starts ago but raced stronger types last time out and was swamped late. MRIYA DREAM (6) will be charging forward looking for the top and will give them something to catch and novelty chances to ELISH STAR (2) and SELLUNE (5).

Race 2

THELITTLE BUSTER (2) was a solid debut and looks a strong chance to win in his second attempt at the track, wasn’t beaten far and showed good qualities, could bounce to the lead in this and be the one to run down. MY TRUE COLOURS (11) was beaten when leading first up but did race a couple of nice types, comes in fresh and looks a suitable grade to be dangerous. ALVAREZ (9) was beaten when leading last time out but may be better suited chasing, give him another chance to make amends and get into the money at a better price. PARAGLIDER (3) is a novelty hope with ALL AT ONCE (7) and DEFEND THE RIGHT (10).

Suggested Bet: THELITTLE BUSTER/MY TRUE COLOURS to Quinella.

Race 3

TORREVEAN ENVY ME (8) gets an improved draw and appears to get the run of the race here, has been luckless with poor draws and maps in recent runs and will get a good look at them in this, should go well. ROMAN GUARD (1) is not racing at his best but gets the draw to improve and looks to be given his chance in front. CROWN GENERAL (9) is knocking on the door but could open relatively short in this, he will look threatening at some stage. PORT TO PLEASE (3) is a novelty chance with NELLYS WORLD (5) both look unlikely to be in a dominating position in the run and UNKNOWN (10) could follow the rail and be a top four player.

Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN ENVY ME (8) each way.

Race 4

MANUKA BAY (12) is a highly talented filly with strings to her bow and although she bumps into a decent lineup, she has proven her worth against the best fillies and will be hard to beat in this. BETTOR BEHAVE (7) didn’t have much luck last time out and hit the line soundly on return, Aiden drives himself today and he could charge across and look for a forward position, could be an improver. MAJOR MOVES (11) is a consistent type who could fly under the radar a touch and get around at a good price, genuine top 3 contender in this. TYPHOON TREASURE (5) returned well and has some early speed, has depth and so does MATERNAL DREAMS (6) who wasn’t beaten far last time out, he will be looking to get forward as well. INSURGENCY (9) and CINCH (10) will be running on.

Tips: 12 7 11 6

Suggested Bet: MANUKA BAY (12) to win.

Race 5

MONEY WELL SPENT (5) will be looking to burn across and lead, not a quick front line underneath and he could bounce to the lead and from there will be very hard to run down, better on speed type. EASTON QUALITY (9) comes in fresh and has the high speed but just needs to settle close enough and follows out a slow beginner. MISS STEFANI (7) is suited in this grade but faces a tricky draw. WESMEDAD (6) will be looking to charge across and be on speed, she can do some work in her races. HEAVENLY BLISS (8) will be running on with even luck along with MARGIMAC (10).

Tips: 5 9 6 7

Suggested Bet: MONEY WELL SPENT (5) to win.

Race 6

TORREVEAN AMY (3) has a few ways she can win this but think she will get to the top early and then has decisions to make, on the bigger course I think she may take some cover and rely on some luck late but think her form is good enough to still win. LAZARUS STAR (12) faces a challenging draw but has come back well for the new camp and must be respected. JINGLING JEWELS (4) wasn’t a bad effort last start and has the speed to pressure to the top and give them something to catch. TOMMY PRICE (7) will run his usual race but will get back and rely on luck, racing well though. MISTER KOPA (10) an outside chance, novelty value and YOU FLY WITH ME (11) can duck and weave and be considered for novelties also.

Tips: 3 12 4 10

Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN AMY (3) each way.

Race 7

OAKLEY (2) will be looking to charge across and lead here, likely to happen and becomes the one to beat as he searches for his first win in the west. DEE JAYS BIG BOY (6) likely to be up outside the speed and do the work, his form has been solid, and he performs well in these races. HOOAH (3) trialled well and nearly got the win next time stepping out, drawn to get a good run. IDONTWANABEAPIRATE (9) is a winning chance if he does everything right, worth a bet if the price is right. IDOLISED (8) was a good effort to win on return but likely to have traffic issues in this and THEYCALL ME STOOGE (4) is an outside chance but it’s a bit of a nothing draw for his racing style.

Suggested Bet: HOOAH (3) each way.

Race 8

BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (9) was unlucky in the Marathon Handicap on Friday night, he looks very hard to beat in this but he is a horse who is driven one way and when needing some luck in races it also means some things can go wrong, he will be dangerous but is hard to dive into a shorter quote about. THOMSON BAY (12) was a decent effort from the breeze on Friday night at Bunbury, normally steps well and think he is on his way back. MAJOR FREEWAY (11) was the winner of that race and moves to the stand, can feature. JILL MACH (4) back to her beloved standing starts could be an improver, especially if she could find the top. CALL TO ARMS (2) is a novelty chance with GEE SMITH (5) who can mix his form but is normally reliable away.

Tips: 9 12 4 5

Suggested Bet: THOMSON BAY (12) each way.

Race 9

Intriguing race. ISEEUBABY (4) will likely hold a lot of market interest because of her overall form, but she can be fiery, and the middle distance has proven to not be her friend, looks likely to lead and will be an interesting watch. RAJAH ROCKS (1) has the speed to lead and take cover, will be better for the last run and should go well in this. SEAGRASS (3) was a better effort last run and is on the improve, another who could go well if she could cross. BALINGUP BOY (5) is racing with good consistency and will appreciate the bigger track. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (9) is improving with every run and should be close enough to get into the money and other novelty chances to HOT ROD (2) and ERA (7).
