Race 1

MAJESTIC GA GA (5) was enormous in defeat and beat the track record with the runner-up effort, she has the draw advantage over the main danger and looks hard to beat. GRUMPEE (6) returned well and will appreciate the bigger track, think he’s in for a big preparation and that’s saying something considering he won the Trotters Cup last time in. MYSTERY FRED (8) was held up at a vital point last start and was something beaten, will be running on strongly in this. LAVRADORE (2) was a well-executed plunge and goes way up in grade but can run top 4 in this, trotted beautifully last week.

Suggested Bet: MAJESTIC GA GA (5) to win.

Race 2

SAPARI (2) was a solid debut from a tough draw and comes up with the better barrier today and race experience under the belt, will run a big race here. EDGE ELEVEN (1) failed to get the sprint lane until too late and had momentum halted, wasn’t beaten far and ideally drawn again, will be right in the thick of it. JETPACK (12) was a good effort considering he broke last time out, capacity field makes it harder, but he does have depth. XCELERATOR (8) was sound last time out and ideally drawn again. Novelty chances to DREAMS DOWN UNDER (3), ALLWOOD DEAL MAKER (9) and KRESCENDO (11).

Suggested Bet: SAPARI (2) to win.

Race 3

ASTERI ADELPHOS (10) should just win, simple as that, good effort last time out and this looks an easier assignment, could open short but this punter is hoping not. IDEAL HEADLINE (9) has had a few opportunities now and is hard to get excited about, she is competitive and will look threatening at some stage but in the meantime, she is in the sin bin. Bit of a drop to the next in form really. ELPLAYER (2) can improve from the better barrier, FRONTMAN (5) has shown some promise. THE VITRUVIAN MAN (7) is better than what was produced last time out and could run in the money at odds with novelty chances to PAS DE BOURREE (1) and WHATS GOIN ON (8).

Suggested Bet: ASTERI ADELPHOS (10) to win.

Race 4

ARMAFLIGHT (2) ideally drawn and looks the leader and will be very hard to run down in this, wasn’t beaten far last time out and deserves a win, looks well drawn and placed. THE LIONS DEN (1) will be hoping to hold up leaders back in this event and will be better suited on the rail and won’t have to leave that position and has a good turn of foot to be dangerous. PARAGLIDER (8) not at his best but drawn to get a soft run and must be included in novelty calculations. ROMAN GUARD (3) capable of better than what we’ve been seeing lately, respect in this. FREEMANS GIRL (6) wasn’t a bad effort on debut, novelty chance with ALL AT ONCE (10) who trialled soundly and will run on.

Suggested Bet: THE LIONS DEN/ARMAFLIGHT to Quinella.

Race 5

Open race. ALVAREZ (1) has shown enough promise to command respect in this and be hard to beat, early speed is a bit of an unknown but has raced and performed well against stronger and looks a major player. TORREVEAN ENVY ME (5) hit the line well last start and overall has been quite consistent this preparation, suitable grade and will run well with even luck. RANGER RED (6) has shown something in the past and can be considered a chance in this. GLOBAL ARK (3) a novelty chance with FISTFULL (8) who has drawn well.

Suggested Bet: ALVAREZ (1) to win.

Race 6

BELIEVE IN BETTOR (4) has shown decent ability on a few occasions but they are hidden away between disappointing race performances, stable change, bigger track, gate speed, ticks a lot of boxes today and should win if he goes anywhere near what he has shown previously. CROWN GENERAL (9) has a nice soft draw and racing well since returning, will be in the money again. NELLYS WORLD (6) battled on well last start but not as well drawn today. UNKNOWN (7), PORT TO PLEASE (10) and ASHANESIA (3) all novelty chances.

Tips: 4 9 6 3

Suggested Bet: BELIEVE IN BETTOR (4) to win.

Race 7

Bit of speed on in this. ALTA KING (1) returns and will be looking to hold as forward a position as he can but a lot of challenges including OAKLEY (2) who will be hard to beat if he can get to the top. DAMAGE DONE (4) is suited this distance and would give a lot of cheek if he led. FIREPLAY (6) can also fly out but on a lesser scale I don’t think he can cross DAMAGE DONE (4). CODENAME ELLIOT (8) will be hoping the pole marker can hold up, he savaged the line last run, winning chance if he’s close enough. IDONTWANABEAPIRATE (10) racing well in this style of racing and will get home well. KISORA (5) faces a tougher task and draws awkward and same story for DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (7).

Suggested Bet: DAMAGE DONE (4) each way.

Race 8

JAXS IDEAL (10) should be better again for the last run and doing the work in the 27.7 down the back was her undoing late, looks as suitable a grade for her and she is knocking loudly on the door, stablemate BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (11) must overcome the 50m but will be running home strongly. EN PARIANT SUR (2) not at his best currently but is building and will run a good race if he bounces to the top in this and rolls along. IM SPIDERMAN (9) was a nice effort last run and is heading in the right direction and looks a novelty chance with CALL TO ARMS (8) and WESMEDAD (4).

Tips: 10 2 11 9

Suggested Bet: JAXS IDEAL (10) to win.

Race 9

Hardest race on the day. TOMMY PRICE (6) was solid in his most recent effort, unsure how he wins the race, but he has a good turn of foot and with even luck he will be dangerous in this. JOEY JAMES (10) nearly got the job done last start; he will be running home strongly in this. OUR MAJOR JACK (12) is holding good consistency, but they might be looking for him here and makes his job harder. GALVINSTON JOHN (1) drawn to improve but isn’t at his best and same story for stablemate CHIEF COPY (6) except he’s drawn poorly. MISS STEFANI (8) nicely drawn and shouldn’t be too far away with A DUKE TO BE (9) improving with every run and HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (11) could improve off the back of a disappointing run last time out.

Tips: 6 10 12 8

Suggested Bet: TOMMY PRICE (6) each way.

Race 10

IDEAL TOMADO (4) is building to run a big race, will be heading off the arm hard and looking for the top and this looks a suitable race, he’s been running through the line well in recent efforts and looks a major player here. LEAVEAMESSAGE (10) will be getting home strongly, form has been decent in recent runs, and this looks more suitable. RODASI (3) is capable on return with BY ROYAL COMMAND (2) who looks to improve. ZLATO (7) is in good form and must be respected on recent form, but the draw does hurt. BURGHLEY SHARD (8) will be running home strongly with even luck. MISS VINCENZA (12) was naughty in her most recent run, but prior form was good and is a good sit kick mare. SEAGRASS (9) can improve.
