Matt Young’s Friday Narrogin Preview Posted on December 5, 2025December 5, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 TOMORROW MAN (3) trialled up well for this and looks very hard to beat on debut, likely to not be a lot of meat on the bone but looks a winning start to the program. SHES A SWEETMOVER (1) is still learning the caper but looks to begin soundly and can be close enough, has been improving with every run and looks a solid novelty chance. STRANIERO DEL MARE (5) was disappointing last time out but had been solid prior to that, could be a tricky draw but is capable. THE SLIPPERY DIP (6) is racing well, has performed well both leading and breezing and this grade suits to be in the money. OUR BLUE DIAMOND (9) needs to come with one run and is a novelty chance. Tips: 3 1 6 5 Suggested Bet: TOMORROW MAN (3) to win. Race 2 Open race. WELLOILED (5) has upside, bit of a tricky gate but not brilliant speed underneath so may head forward and contest the lead, should run a race. NUCLEAR CRUISER (8) returns, and overall form is solid for this, may need the run but shouldn’t be too far away. I AM SIAM (4) goes up in grade, and this looks a lot harder, wouldn’t want to be diving in too short. INTERNAL WAVES (6) could run well and likely heads forward as well with the stablemate CINDYS SECRET (9) proven in this class, but the back row draw makes it more difficult. WHEEL FAST (7) is second up but follows out a steady beginner. SAVE THIS DANCE (10) will be fitter but the draw is challenging. Tips: 5 8 6 10 Suggested Bet: WELLOILED (5) each way. Race 3 THE RIGHTEOUS (7) has a nice trailing draw and just needs a touch of luck but the class suits and the form has been decent, especially in this grade. FOLLOW THE MUSIC (8) could potentially get a better run and looks the main danger, decent return off a freshen up and must be respected. IDEAL WHITBY (1) has the draw and likes to lead; he is finding it hard to break through but is racing consistently. JAMIE KIM (4) is a winning chance but would be more confident if he could find the top. DAT LOVELY (5) and SYNCHRONIZER (6) are both capable types but are first up which makes it hard to get a guide on them. LIQUIDATOR (9) better in a leading role and SECOND AMENDMENT (10) is consistent but needs luck from the draw. Tips: 7 8 6 4 Suggested Bet: THE RIGHTEOUS (7) each way. Race 4 MADAM MAGGIE (2) has the nice draw and returns, this will be beneficial to follow how the tow David Gravolin runners go in the third race to give you an understanding of how this mare could go, although she looks the likely leader, she may also need the run but still should run a bold race. BOBBY WATERHOUSE (4) is first up for the new stable and is a consistent performer, one of the key chances. KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (8) will be running home strongly, will be better after the freshen up run and rarely runs a bad race. TUX AND TAILS (5) likely heads forward and can do the work. AMERICAN MONARCH (6) has an awkward draw but will likely get back and run home well. EYE BETTER (9) and JOHNNY LOMBO (7) novelty chances. Tips: 2 8 4 5 Suggested Bet: KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (8) each way. Race 5 GOLD HORSESHOE (7) looks well placed; distance suits and form has been good, looks a little bit of a drop in grade and can be driven like the best horse. ALFA PRINCE (9) can be a bit hit and miss from the tapes, but overall form has been good, winning chance if he steps. RAMBO RABBIT (5) is preferred at the shorter distance but is racing well and excels in the stands. I SEE FIRE (8) is going well but the handicap looks really challenging as he is a horse who isn’t as strong if he loses sight of the bunny. A DUKE TO BE (2) comes in fresh but have a query at the longer distance for him. CRY HAVOC (4) and GOODONYA MATE (6) novelty hopes. Tips: 7 9 5 4 Suggested Bet: GOLD HORSESHOE (7) to win. Race 6 PIPERS PARADE (4) looks suited in this grade, her form has been okay in recent runs, but her win was very strong bolting away from rivals and that was when leading, if she can find the top here, I think she will get the job done. SEMINOLE JUNIOR (2) has been an improver in recent runs and has a nice draw, look for further improvement here. THE KHUKRI (8) wasn’t beaten far on Tuesday and did things wrong at Wagin last Friday, will be running on. GAMETIME (6) has mixed form since entering new stable, didn’t look all that comfortable off the track last time out and may spend some time there again from the draw. PRINCE OF TRIBECA (10) will be getting home well; he has improved with every run this prep. Tips: 4 2 8 10 Suggested Bet: SEMINOLE JUNIOR (2) each way. Race 7 SIR BELVEDERE (1) returns off a freshen up and is ideally drawn, looks the likely leader and should prove hard to run down. STELLA MAJOR (6) is racing well but she is a get back run home type so there will be some traffic to overcome. ELEPHANT ROCK (5) will be heading forward and is racing consistently, likely do the work in this and go well. GO HOME JO (10) will be getting home well from the back of the field. Place hopes to CRACKA TINNY (7) and SWANBOURNE SPUNK (8). Tips: 1 6 5 10 Suggested Bet: SIR BELVEDERE (1) to win. Market Market
