Race 1

Open race. Early speed looks to consist with BLIND EDITION (3) and SPEED FORCE (4) who both are just racing okay to be fair but could improve from forward positions. DAWSON SHARD (7) needs luck from the draw but has upside in his preparation. MOOLAH MAGNET (10) returns, and trial was sound. RAMTASTIC (1) is fitter but has been a mixed bag since coming to WA. TILLY SWIFT (2) can earn if able to lead but just lacks a bit of top end speed. TWOHEARTONEDIAMOND (6) racing well overall but draw hurts her with her overall racing pattern relies on luck. MAJOR BUZZ (9) will be running on.

Suggested Bet: DAWSON SHARD (7) each way.

Race 2

SOUNDS LIKE FUN (6) trialled up well and apart from the misdemeanour last time out, she is normally a quick beginner, and it isn’t an overly quick front line, can spear to the top and be incredibly hard to run down. HUGHEY (1) has a nice draw, was better last time out and can improve from the better draw. CODENAME ELLIOT (7) is consistent and has a nice draw, will be getting home well. IM GRAFTER (3) has raced without much luck recently and his best is up to these, keep safe at longer odds. EXTINCTION (5) can improve second up and ZLATO (4) has shown glimpses.

Suggested Bet: SOUNDS LIKE FUN (6) to win.

Race 3

SHES A LUCKY PENNY (2) returns and has the nice draw to work with, trial wasn’t anything to be excited about, but she is a good front running type and can run well in this. ASHANTI PRINCESS (1) drawn to get a good run, lacks early speed but can get a good run and perform well. FOLLOW THE MUSIC (6) has turned a corner and is racing with great confidence but it’s still an awkward draw to contend with here. KOLISI (3) is capable of better and can improve. KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (5) rarely runs a bad race but awkward draw for him. ISAIDBOO (8) will be running on.

Suggested Bet: ASHANTI PRINCESS (1) each way.

Race 4

JACK MANNIX (3) has performed well in both his runs for the new stable and looks a solid chance in this, not known for his brilliant gate speed but over the short course he bumps into a moderate front line. MUMMAS LITTLE STAR (1) will run an improved race from the draw, she is very much an on-speed horse. ASHIMA (9) is suited in this grade and will be getting home well. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (5) is racing soundly, he needs some luck but isn’t out of it. SANFORD BART (10) is capable and JUST A PET (7) better than what he has shown since returning.

Tips: 3 1 9 10

Suggested Bet: MUMMAS LITTLE STAR (1) each way.

Race 5

HOT ROD (3) continues to improve and has the draw advantage and does look hard to beat here, wasn’t disgraced last time out against stronger and will appreciate the drop in grade. I do believe BLITZAR (5) has decent ability and now being third up into the preparation I prefer him in this and with the small field he does possess a solid turn of foot, expect him to run a big race. LUNAR MISS (1) was sound in her last run and should be further improved, drawn well again. SHESA DELIGHT (7) has shown enough promise to run on from her draw with POPPYS LAST DANCE (6) who is capable but must overcome a tough draw. CAPTURE THE MOMENT (4) can improve on the first up effort.

Suggested Bet: BLITZAR (5) to win.

Race 6

MISS MARCOPOLO (1) has been mixing her form but looks well placed here, has good early speed and looks to make every post a winner and I think on what we have seen, she can get the job done. SHES ALL GO (2) is much better suited in this grade and expect her to bounce back into the money. ATHREESHOTEAGLE (3) has good early speed, he’s mixing his form but can get into the money. TAYLORS BOY FRED (6) is suited this grade and will run home well. ROCKNROLL DILINGER (7) not the worst and has a nice draw to follow.

Suggested Bet. MISS MARCOPOLO (1) to win.

Race 7

FRANKENSTEINSBRIDE (1) just keeps winning and has good early speed, looks likely to lead again and will take all sorts of running down, this does represent a further rise in grade but how do you knock winning form and all the wins have been spacious as well. POCKETFUL OF OPALS (7) is capable and will get the perfect run, will be very dangerous late. MASTER LEIGHTON (5) will be better for the first up effort and this grade suits. MAJIC BAY (6) racing well and can get into the money, go well on a novelty basis. PRIDDAH (4) is a novelty player.

Suggested Bet. POCKETFUL OF OPALS (7) each way.
